It’s no secret that I’ve struggled with both anxiety and depression-it’s something I’ve been vocal about for nearly five years. Not only do I seek to help others, but it’s also great receiving that same support from this community. I’ve been on a major low lately, and I find myself reluctant to want to socialize, and also I have a hard time completing tasks or enjoying them. Usually creating art is uplifting for me, but even that is tough to do so routinely lately. Hopefully this helps someone out there realize you aren’t alone. There are some terrible stigmas surrounding mental health, but the truth is most people struggle with it at one point or another. It’s often not situational, and can be caused by chemical imbalances and hormones. Luckily, there are more and more accessible resources out there to help, from online/text therapy to meditation and mindfulness tutorials, and so on. We can do this 🖤
