I only heard about Shelley Segal today. Been an Atheist 5 years, but without Quora, I would have never known that there were so many atheists out there. I never once thought about looking up atheist music until I heard 'Saved' by Shelley Segal by chance. Now, I'm filling up my playlist with more realistic music. I love what you're doing, and it is meaningful. Thank you for your work.

@Shelley Segal your emotion is like Janis Joplin mixed with Joan Baez with the lyrics of Leonard Cohen, or Bob Dylan. I am a dispassionate person and yet you can move me to tears with your songs and voice and lyrics alone. I am at a loss. Please let me know where I can buy your cds. I would pay big money to hear you play and sing certain songs, but for now, I just want everything you have ever done. You are amazing. "atheist movement"??? It is NOT a movement. It is an individual's lack of belief in any gods/deities.

Good on you! Like many atheists and freethinkers, I grew up being told that Jesus Christ was the best way to live, and that the Bible was the ultimate instruction book to how to live our lives. Even then, I knew that was bullshit!
