Hi again mate. Good comments re safety. R U an Electrician? I have the older Shelly1 relay (with a manual switch as well) installed by an electrician - controlling a pool pump with home assistant. It's been going great! I have programmed pool pump control using the HA calendar, and solar/grid power sensing, so the pump only comes on if I am exporting power... pretty cool, as it only runs the pump when I am using solar power. If I want to upgrade to power monitoring of the pump, do you recommend the Shelly1 PM? or should I actually go to the Shelly1 *Plus* PM? Thanks
I'm not a sparky, I'm an IT Nerd :P Honestly the price difference between the Shelly 1PM and the Shelly 1PM Plus isn't that big. some sites I've seen they're the same price They're both rated to 16A/3.5kW. it's gonna come down to any compelling features you see in the Plus vs the 1PM
