Now I read from the Jewish Translation Bible because God wanted me to love the first chosen too as He loved them, it is written they will mourn when they realise they rejected Him. I am Israeli and Jewish. During this war, my parents have died in front of me, and my brothers were shot in front of me as well by Gaza troops. Everyday, they burn synagouges and commit atrocities like burning the Torah and taking off and burning our Kippahs. We are persecuted because we are descendants of Abraham, The Ancestor. During these times, many people from the outside claim, "I support Israel", or "I support Palestine". But the truth is, it's always easy to pick apart the conflict from the outside and stand on what you think is right. But the reality is that they don't live it, we do. I wish for nothing but peace. There are children here that do not know who their mothers are or wish that they can taste bread again. We do not care about who gets what land or who gains what, or who is in charge. We just want our food, our families, and our homes back. I want to see my mother and my siblings again, but they rest in peace. During all of this, I tried to commit suicide by hanging myself, but as i jumped, the rope just slid past my throat and I landed on my Torah, and my right hand (I kid you not), pointed to the Sh'ma, this prayer. Some may say this is a coincidence, but I believe that Hashem reached out to me. No matter how hard things get, we Jews, and even we Humans, must stick together. Baroch Shem Kevod Malchuto Le Olam Va'ed!
