489 views! There’s a lot of your wildlife, bears, elks etc, I know nothing about photographing beyond wildlife common sense. But we do have deer in the U.K. and this is some of the best advice on RU-vid. Plus, as with all the videos I've seen from this channel, lots of natural history information. It makes wonder if the RU-vid conspiracy theorist might have a point, or it might be some people don’t have enough concentration for a long video. It’s sad though, as the videos themselves are a work of art.

It was nice to see one run from you. It was looking like you could put a saddle on them for a moment.

That's incredible! I hunted white tailed deer for years and there's no way that I could move around with those bucks like that. Thanks for sharing tis experience with us!

Are you really as close as it seems? Is it because the deer are in the rut? Or are these deer super tame?
@douggardner1
@douggardner1 5 лет назад
Yes you can get very close if you are quiet and move slowly. They are completely wild deer but they are habituated to people that visit the National Park.

How do you get such sharp images and nice and clear picture I have the canon rebel t7I with a canon 100-400mm lens and my pictures don't come out as clear and sharp as these pictures of yours are

@@cody95ck8 Cody the camera lens combination that you have is very capable of getting great shots. Given the fact that this response is 11 months old you may have learned your camera by now and are already getting great pics. The key factors are Lighting, Lighting, and Lighting. Shutter speed - general rule is your SS should, at least, match your focal length, and technique - most people just need to slow down a little and not rush to take the shot. There are others but these are ones that I found helped me most. Good luck and get out there and shoot.

They must be in a fence and used to people.

No fence, they are just habituated to lots of tourist.
