On behalf of my Gujjar bakarwal community of jammu kashmir, i want to thanks my director of this documentary, now people will understand our hard life.
@@JustMe54328 madam they migrate from there place for poisture and graze for their goats and sheeps they migrate to warmer areas bcoz they live in snowy areas they mirate in winter from their native towns to warmer areas and from summer to their native areas and they travel by foot with their animals
WHY not be very proud of those who have faced these difficulties,.....and now stop?! Supposedly, "we" now know better and have the gifts of different ways.
To see this, i remember my past when i was the student of middle class in the year1964 my poor old father asked me,o my son remember my word , I sacrifice my today for your to morrow you are the master for yourself and go to the study it will make your life because education is the best ornament and then you remember me. I go to Dhok for grazing goats and sheeps i faced many difficulties in the way to reach Dhok with my father.Today when I see this video the words of my father are paesent in my mind. Now i am at home pass my retirement(as magistrate ist. Class) life peasefully. Education is the best then this profession. With past memories Mohd Hussain kohli of Kalai Poonch J&K India. I appreciate the persion who complet this video.
Kashmir zindabad ...great culture of Kashmir..this documentary should be considered for highest award for documentaries...I could not stop my tears..great Raja Shabir Khan sahab ...hats off ..great focus and well managed documentry... Kashmir zindabad... 👍👍part 2 great as well...
This is a masterpiece. I want to place on record my sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Director and his entire team for such a great work. With this the people will realise the actual hardships faced by the Gujjars and Bakarwals of Jammu and Kashmir. They lead a very tough life but yet they sing, smile and thank God. This is the best part being a Tribal. These people have the Royal bloodline of Gurjar Pratihars who ruled this Great country for a long time They have the never say never spirit . Big Salute to the team and the Nomsds of Paradise.
I don't have royal bloodlines (at least not that I know of) but we too sing, smile and thank God, and never intentionally put another person or animal in danger.
The most scary journey I have ever seen. All credit goes to these brave bakerwall people . May Allah SWT protect them in hardships. A huge than you to the Director who showed us about the realities of the world beyond our luxurious living.👌♥️
27 din bahut Mushkil tha bahut emotional Kiya Is Dil Ne ifeel your pen bahut Mushkil chhote chhote bacche aur Itni Himmat Allah se Dua Karte Hain Allah Mein Apni com ki khidmat karne ki Taufeeq De
Such a hard but a Brave life.. my Parents did pass such life in Early 80s 90s but due migration from Jammu kashmir to Azad kashmir, our new generation does not know much about this life..
I Feel Proud to be a part of this culture. Such an amazing Documentary made by Raja Shabir Khan!! Well done brother. You really deserve the Oscar for this Amazing Masterpiece.

While crossing the pir panjal it was really the most difficult part of their journey . I have spent almost one month with this brave community, they really live a very hard life, full of challenges. This is the worthy content that should be brought forth, liked and shared instead of today's useless content.without these people mountains and pastures loose their value. These people act like an ornament for mountains and hills.I really enjoyed this masterpiece.i am not able to tell you how much I enjoyed this incredible vedio.
kudos to the whole group. what a difficult life. All should get bravery award. Gaddis in chamba resembles with this gujjar community. salute from chamba himachal
Amazing documentary. The two parts, spread apart 7 years really show you how the lives and livelihood of the Gujjars and Bakarwals of Jammu and Kashmir are rapidly changing. Indeed, in another decade, the profession may die out completely unless the government takes initiative to help the Gujjars transition into modernity in a way that preserves their ways. There are similar communities in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand too, called Gujjars and Gaddis, their lives are in a similar transition.
2023 ün sonunda izledigim bu hayat ailemin :200 sene önce yaşadığı hayattir...göçebelikten once yarı göcebe /konar göçer olmuslar sonra da şehre yarlesmisler yaklasık ;60 senedir şehirdeyiz geçmışi yasattiniz tesekkurler
I used to see such transhumance on RU-vid from all over the world. You people made it. However, I can state that this is the most amazing video I have ever seen. I applaud you all for capturing the harrowing journey. many regards
So painful situation face gujjar bakarwal and other nomadic family during return from their pasture grassland areas. The little Advise to Govt care the domadic family when they face painful conditions 😢 🙏 😞
It's absolutely a wonderful piece of work that you have done, I have encountered a few moments like this where Bakerwals travelling through Mughal Road were in trouble and we helped them but there are places where they are helpless and the terrain in Pir-Panjal is unforgiving with its snow, heavy rainfall and hailstorms causing huge damage to livestock as well as sometimes human lives are lost too. You documented it very well; I appreciate it and I hope the best for your future documentary projects.
Throughout the Pir Panjal sequence I couldn't help but wonder how the cameraman recorded everything so perfectly while themselves scaling it. Kudos to your great effort!
Very very informative and educative video. Thanks a lot to all the camera team. It is the first hand insight for a viewer into the life of our Indian nomads who have been continuing with their generations/centuries long traditional livelihood of nomads. This video generated respect in my eyes for these hard working people. Good bless ..!!
I felt very sad to what happened to their journey, they should have started early to avoid bad weather. I pity Ghafoor, despite his age, he is still determined to raise and guard his family and his animals. what worried me most were the kids with them, Timra and the herd. I hope nomads are always safe on their journeys.
Raja is the Raja of Pir Panchal mountains and job done has no words to praise. I am proud of your professional endeavors and hope more similar challeging tasks.
The most interesting and the most difficult life ,the nomads are living.... Hats off for the documentary....but the final scene must be included where Ghafoor live by crossing pir panchal mountain 🏔️...
