Filmed with gratuitous amounts of aerial footage featuring aircraft from the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), the movie proved to be a box office bomb, a testament to the notion that nothing can topple the 1986 original Tom Cruise-led fighter pilot action flick.
Still, Oda-San's high-flying adventure is as awesome as it could get!
