Source: im immo3 When I was immo 1 and I derank to asc 3 it would go back to private. But once you hit immortal it’s automatically private and you can’t change it. If you’re under immortal then you can change it freely

@@tornado2366 Who you play with depends on MMR (Basically RR but it applies to all modes). I could end up with low plat to B3. Being S1 just means I can now duo/trio/5 queue G3-B1.

​@@tornado2366yes, tier 3 of every rank is the true rank experience. Gold 1 and 2 is basically high silver. Gold 3 is real gold, same with plat and diamond. A lot of differennce between a plat 1 player and plat 3 player or diamond 1 player and diamond 3 player

@@4TH4RV the difference actually is bigger.... at least not with the episode system existing. There''s roughly a 3 sub-rank leeway in terms of what kinds of players you will get in your lobbies. If you're Diamond1, you could be getting Asc1 peak immo players in your lobbies, or gold3 peak g3 noobs. The real rank experience of each rank is when you are high enough to not be getting players of a rank lower than the given rank. So, if you're Immo1 with full Ascendant Lobbies, THAT'S the true Ascendant experience. If you end up getting some D3 noobs in your lobbies then that's when the skill gap overlaps.

i'm pretty sure he was just confirming it's not a smurf queue and actual immortal lobby (in short in "high elo" you often play in smurf queues for many games with other "smurfs" and those lobbies are have all kinds of people. some could be radiant, some low diamond, so he was like "no, it's not a smuf queue, it's actual immortal"). in other games you just know, but in valorant you don't see other people's ranks so
