@@FemtoTheFoxNo... That's literally the entire point lmao, I haven't seen anyone as dumb as you in years. The glass would stay undigested and exit with the pill still undissolved. Making it safe to consume as long as the Vial is strong enough
The pills are his medication, he could take both which might be a mild overdose which would at most make him ill. Otherwise he’s fine , tho to others without the condition they’re fatal
how dare you get his name wrong! that’s benadoozle cumbernoozle and he was voted the most attractive man ever by the totally unbiased Herlock Sholmes fandom!
This whole series was Fucking stupid. The actors were all brilliant no doubt about that. They could've had something actually good with the show. They had the cast, the production budget, everything but the writers were more interested in showing their own writing prowess or the non existence of it than being faithful to the source material.
Only if, when you say "the early seasons," you mean the 1984-1994 seasons of the excellent Granada production. This nonsense is some of the worst television ever made.
@@reversedmusic7262 it’s a quote from a very quotable movie as my dad would say. It’s from Princess Bride which is my dad’s favorite movie and one of my mom’s least favorite lol
Ah, yes. The M60 General-Purpose Machine Gun (also called "The Pig"), a 7.62x51mm NATO machine gun capable of firing 600 Rounds Per Minute that John Rambo uses prominently at the climax of First Blood.
Can you tell me which Sherlock Holmes series is this? I've watched this one.. Are there any other ep too? I searched online and there were so many Sherlock Holmes.. So which one is this?
He was dying anyway so it didn't matter that eventually he would lose. But every person he beat, someone would give him family a lot of money, so he did it for them
Not possible do you really think the man who wrote science of deduction won't be able to see through this. Even after spending so much time with the cabbie from street to this home. Come on !!!
The funny thing is right before the guy says "you can take your 50/50 chance, or I can shoot you in the head" you can see Holmes smirk as he realizes exactly what's happening.
@@Bk15729 There Is A Differense Between Psychopath And Sociopath: The First One Doesn't Feel Any Empathy Or Guilt And The Sociopath Just Doesn't Care About Society Rules.
i’d take the gun either way, chances are a game set like this is rigged and if i’m gonna die the guns easier for the cops to track down edit: just found this again, actually a fun discussion below damn
One of my favorite lines from this show, when his housekeeper said something really stupid, he looks at her and says "It's physically painful watching you think."
It’s not housekeeper, it’s the commissar, head of the department or whatever you say, only guy from Scotland Yard who Sherlock actually took as a friend for.
If you are wondering...in the story the guy didn't tamper with anything. The plot was, that he was just ready to die anytime... because he was already sick. That was the problem Holmes had...there was no trick...no answer. Just a 50\50 chance. And Holmes has his problems with "luck".
@@apsoypike1956As I recall there is never a concrete statement on what was really happening, the major theories I’ve seen are the 50-50, the killer being immune/taking an antidote, or the water being what was poisoned. (Please let me know if there is a clip of Watson saying that I could not find it.)
Simple logic: He said, "this is what you did to all the other ones" which inferes that they are dead, he also said "no-one's ever gone for that option" which means they all died to a 50/50 chance, using logic we can see that they all died and none of them chose the gun. The gun is your best option.
I think so, but in this one I think it was that he was immune or it was his medication that was used, because it could be harmless for him, but have deadly effects to thise without the condition
@@ihiminen3393 No answer is actually given in this one, but the answer is still that it's in the water. John saves Sherlock's life from his own arrogance.
And then, when Sherlock keeps picking the weapon, the Cabby keeps bringing out bigger and scarier weapons,...until he picks out a kitten threatening that he has to take care of it. Gotta be Rowan Atkinson who plays the Sherlock character, though.
Sherlock then eats the gun and reveals that he’s actually the old man in disguise and the person disguised as Sherlock is the bad guy. Then he says “Ha! It’s Morbin’ time”
Gun lighters have an obviously smaller hole up front due to the pressure and concentration of butane necessary. It will in no way look like a real gun from the barrel.
These days British people immediately shit their pants and break down crying at the sight of a hi-point, I don't think they'd be able to spot that under pressure lmao
Well... When you've been kidnapped and possibly beaten your head is probably not in the best space to be evaluating the gun or the situation that deeply. Especially when you're in a country where guns are not commonplace
@@user-ee4dt7tq3k Well, Sherlock would likely rely on his keen observation skills and knowledge of human psychology to assess the situation. He might carefully observe his opponent's body language, facial expressions, and any other subtle cues that could give away their intentions. Sherlock is known for his ability to read people, so he would look for any signs of nervousness, hesitation, or confidence that could indicate which vial is safe. Additionally, he might engage in conversation or ask strategic questions to gather more information and gain an advantage. Sherlock's sharp mind and attention to detail would definitely come into play in deciphering the truth and making the right choice.
Weird. It's ONLY watchable element was Cumberbatch as Sherlock and even that got insufferably bad toward the end. This, like any BBC show anymore, was just bad.
This show was so promising up until the end of this episode, where they decided to throw Moriarty in as the main villain in basically the first fucking episode. We need to stop putting Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes stories, he only showed up in two goddamn stories and neither of those were the most popular Sherlock books. As a side note this show got real bad real quick when Sherlock just starts pulling information the audience could never have known out of his pompous arse
the biggest reason why all the various Sherlock properties seem to cover the same stories, like almost always including Moriarty, is because the copy rights of the majority of the books are still owned by the family, and all the movies and shows only cover the ones that are now considered public domains. even studios wanting to make fully original Sherlock stories had issues because the family successfully argued that they own the character, and Sherlock Holmes is only public domain in the confines of the stories that have expired copy rights.
Just like he did with the gun. I couldn’t tell if it’s a real gun or not, because it was a blurry blob on the screen. Maybe the directors watched death note and tried to copy the wrong half of the anime
@@Irishrebel092 wow that kinda sucks, i get not wanting the stories he wrote to be badly made / altered, but not even original ones? have a clause that must specify on the title that its not official or something for all i care, but let people be creative
@@brunoslybruno in pretty sure that's why Netflix did the Enola Holmes movies. They're not technically a Sherlock movie even though Henry Cavill does play him in those movies. The same way marvel can't make a stand alone Hulk movie, but they can include the character in a movie.
The best part was when Sherlock takes both bottles and put them behind his back. Sherlock then presents the bottles back on the table and watches the cabbie as now he is not aware of the poison bottle.
For anyone wondering this is basically the story of a riddle. The story goes that you are kidnapped and forced to take 2 pills. The kidnapper says that one is poisoned and one isn’t. Since it’s a 50/50 shot you decide which one you want and when you do the kidnapper offers you water to help swallow it while he swallows it without. You end up dying while the kidnapper has done this dozens of times. Then you have to figure out how he did it. The answer is the water was poison and both pills were not.
Spoiler Funny part is even tho Holmes was able to leave the killer got him to play anyways by appealing to Holmes need to always be right, but he doesnt get to find out as Watson shoots the killer from the building across the way before Holmes can take the pill
Sherlock is the worst adaptation, a shitshow and a pure circlejerk. The show is: Sherlock smart, everyone else stupid. House M.D. or Elementary, either choice is a billion times better. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LkoGBOs5ecM.html for a more in depth explanation.
