Taylor Lynn The Russian Sherlock has exactly the same voice as Benedict Cumberbath, just speaking a different language. They cast his dubber perfectly.

+Taylor Lynn I am French and I despise the French voices, they just sound horribly wrong. I have always watched the show in English, thank God. But as a Russian-speaking person, I must admit that the Russian voices and intonations are quite good, really. Especially Benedict's deep, rich voice ;)

I don't know why some people are so aggressive against the german synchronization.Who only complains, it should do better, I mean. Nah, I hate German dubbings. For a German, it sounds rubbish in 99% of the cases. I prefer the original or Spanish dub. Although Brasilian dub isn't usually so bad either.

well the Russian sounds exactly like the real voices of the actual english actors so it is the best one. Maybe what they are saying is bad but it terms of being close to the original it is the best one by far. Sherlock has a very deep voice and the Russian voice is the only one that was actually deep.

Umm, no. I'm not a native English speaker, and nothing in my country is dubbed except for children's shows and movies. Because kids can't read or read that fast yet, and they don't know English yet. When you grow up, you learn to read and you learn English in school. Everything's subtitled, in tv and in cinema. That's how people learn English, because they passively hear it all the time. Sorry, but people's English in the countries that dub everything tends to be awful. Dubbing is lazy. Subtitles also makes you a fast reader! Nobody complains about subtitles in my country, but pretty much everyone thinks dubbing is ridiculous. :D I watch my dvd's with English subtitles. Then you don't miss stuff even if they speak fast and difficult stuff, like Sherlock. No, you most definitely don't NEED dubbing. You're just used to it. I want to hear the original voices, how their intonation is, how they express emotions etc, thank you very much. Dubbing takes away from the actor's original performance! Subtitles do not. I know people from a "dubbing country" who absolutely hate it, and watch everything in English with subtitles. In their tv there's luckily an option (at least in some channels) to turn off the dubbing. I don't know if that's the case for example in Italy or France.

Hate to be the one that tells you are wrong but here in Norway we don't dub movies or series. We are quiet used to read the subs and sooner or later the eyes will follow the text as well as whats going on in screen. Only childrens movies and series are considered to be dubbed.

+Violet Kitten I'm German but I've never watched Sherlock in German, because I didn't wanna do that to my poor ears. xD All synchronizations are bad once you've been used to watching movies and shows in English. But now that you say it's good I might go and have a look. I'll continue watching it in English though. No synchronization ever gets better than the original version.

Ich würde es zwar nicht dem Original vorziehen, aber für Leute, die kein Englisch können oder es einfach nicht so gut verstehen, ist es immer noch ziemlich gut. In paar Tagen kommt btw endlich das Christmas-Special raus! Ich bin so aufgeregt, omg.

Meine kleine Schwester kann aber leider noch kein wirkliches Englisch und deshalb hab' ich die Serie öfter mit ihr auf Deutsch schauen müssen.^^ Oh man, da hast du ja echt Glück gehabt. xD Ich habe die Serie vor etwa 1,5 Jahren entdeckt und warte seitdem schon extrem gespannt auf das xmas Special (wenn es so weiter geht, wird Season 4 jedoch anscheinend iwie erst 2019 rauskommen ;u;). Zumindest sind die Folgen recht lang... Supernatural! Gucks du im Moment die elfte Staffel oder musst du noch aufholen?^^
