Oh god-- This is the best Sherlock edit I have ever seen, and I'm not just saying this. I was sobbing by the end of this video, and I don't cry easily. I recently went through a two-year-span without crying, so there's a little bit of proof. The song was a really great choice... the clips were all cut at the right moments... christ... Your video honestly moved me. I saw Sherlock's pain... I _felt_ Sherlock's pain. In the show, it was devastating enough to see him falling apart in separate scenes, but you happened to merge them all into one video, and with your editing skill, made an absolute masterpiece. I think I about lost it right at 2:18, when the glass shattered. Don't get me wrong, I was crying before this part came up, but holy cow... Straight after that, seeing Sherlock curled onto the ground was what made me cry harder. I had to pause the video to watch the rest because my vision was blurred with so many tears-- Absolutely amazing. Incredible. Outstanding. There aren't enough words to describe this.
People say Sherlock fandom is insane. No its precious. Don't need anything but this video to prove that. Whoever made this great work.. it's the perfect mix of lyrics..music..ed Sheeran..and exact johnlock moments. The lyrics sync so well that I feel these lines were written for john and Sherlock. The feel of this is inexpressible and can only be felt.

i think the most important part in the season is, when sherlock is going to jumb. first of all, he calls john. i wants to talk with him, he could call everyone else, but he calls him cos johns voice is the voice he wants to hear the last for a long time. and how he started crying. he knew that it‘s not for forever, that he‘s going to see him again, but he didn‘t knew when he‘s going to. so he started crying, cos john is the most important person in his life and he knew his going to miss him so badly. and he knew what he‘s doing to john, that john is going to miss him just as bad as he‘s going to miss john. and he started CRYING! EVEN THOUGH HE KNEW THAT THEY ARE GOING TO SEE EACHOTHER AGAIN BUT THIS YEARS BETWEEN WOULD BE SO HARD FOR HIM SO HE KDNEJSBDJXKJEBDZF i need a doctor.
I think the most important thing in the whole scene is that he started crying because John can't see those tears, it only Sherlock's feelings manifestation not the plan, not the fake death only his love for the person he love.
It were actually Bens tears in this sad scene as he spoke to Martin, but it was so touching, that they kept it in the finished movie. And it had fits so well, because in this heartbreaking scene was so good to see, that Sherlock is also a man with true feelings, and not only the emotionless thinking machine with no heart. Sherlock would do everything for John, his best friend and the love of his life to keep him safe. When this is not true love, what else can it be.
I've watched several fanvids but this one really broke my heart in any all ways possible😭 This deserves a million views💔 The way they look at each other is just.. too much. Too much love and too much sacrifice. Why can't they be jst together? WHY?!

Okay i might be crying. I never realised how perfect the song fits Sherlock. The way he lets him go because he knows John is better off with Mary. Because she gives him everything that he cant give him. But still he is living as John will return to him. Loving him from afar. Well executed.

I think I just drowned in a pool of tears. Time stands still and I'm transported to outer space. This video is so angelic, it just leaves an idyllic taste. This is by far one of the best Johnlock homages I've ever seen. It's just takes all that surrounds them, the love, the trust the honesty, the chemistry, the dignity, and the serenity and occasional killer streak and just wraps it up into this jaw dropping tapestry. Bravo fellow Sherlockian! This is raw and unprecedented S+J magic! Burned Ems No, you see I'm the one that should be thinking you. What you did, the visuals, the sound, the mysticism. It's unlike anything I've ever seen really. You touched my heart immensely with this Johnlock video. I can only imagine how many others shall be shaken up and swaddled by it. Yes, it's sentimental and yes, it brings on the waterworks. However, it's rewarding and utterly beautiful because Johnlock is a candle that shall forever burn bright. It'll infinitely work. I knew from the very first episode that there was love in the air. You can't fake that kind of connection, that kind of understanding, and that kind of heart. They may be actor but I know love when I see it. There love is one of the most iridescent of loves ever to grace a screen. I only hope the writers and BBC decide to press forward with a season five. As much as it would grill me and fellow Sherlockians I'm willing to wait as long as it takes. This show has undoubtedly left it's scuff marks on the walls of many hearts. It's loyal fan base shall never evaporate. Towards Sherlock we could never grow tart. I can't hit the subscribe button fast enough, you are remarkable. Keep bathing the world in your heavenly light. Before I stumbled across this video I was in a slump, I was tottering on the edge of humanity and blasphemy. Your video lifted me back up, it made me feel again. Burned Ems me spoiling you? On the flip side actually. I'm still in awe, I must've rematches this a thousand times in a matter of hours. It still has the same affect. It just seeps down into your soul and takes your breath away. For a minute everything stands still and you're submersed in all that Johnlock is. Light, Faith, Joy, Redemption, Sorrow, Grace, and Companionship. After its doused the flames for a little while you're just left barren and trembling in this vast sea of love. Then your hearts gears began to turn again and the candle is relit. Still all you can do is stumble, mumble, and sit. Marveling at such sparky chemistry and satisfying wit. I have full faith in the writers, the program itself, and the actors. Sherlock has endured for nearly 100+ years. Gatiss and crew polished and sculpted it into a modern classic fairy tale if you will. It's clearly a passion project for all involved. And it's certainly beloved by all. It's been in production for what feels like eons now. Even though at times it feels as though it's never enough. When it finally arrived it always enthralled and lifted it's viewers up. I know that there is so much more to be done. So much more up the writer's sleeves. I mean Arthur Conan Doyle wrote 4 novels and 55 short stories venturing around our glamorized sleuth. The surface material is boundless. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are busy at the moment, making Marvel movies or what have you. Though, I have faith, we all do. They will return someday, I can feel it, they'll grace the screen again and take all of the storm clouds away. The fan base is no stranger to long hiatus'. We've waited for what felt like a lengthy eternity for each current season. So we can and we will eagerly endure and remain loyal forevermore. Even if it's just a special, I know we'll get more to the tale. The ending was so final, so pulsating, and so artfully arranged. Almost as if it were setting the stage, I don't believe the BBC will close the book on Mr. Holmes. The show is a global phenomenon, there is more to uncover and more to resolve, the Baker Street Duo shall march on.

Lisa Schnabel Sherlock was never a real sociopath, a self proclaimed, may be. I mean, he belongs more to the autistic spectrum (Asperger). John said this to Greg in ThoB. He cares for the few friends he has, sociopaths would never do this, they only think about themselves, are selfish.They are only play emotions to other people. Sherlock's feelings for John were always real, and only for this reason he can't be a sociopath.

GOD!! Seeing this makes me miss watching Sherlock. I loved series 4 although not everyone feels the same way about it. I had a feeling it might be the last one Benedict and Martin do. This song is so perfect for the two that I could actually see Sherlock singing it and this was so beautifully edited together that it actually brought me to tears. This was fantastically made.
What I realized with this video is that I’m more of a crybaby and that sherlock last season, when he didn’t have Jonh anymore, his heart broke, his soul was taken away, he only used nicotine patches, none smoked cigarettes, but right after he left, he started taking several medications until he completely lost consciousness, that is, they are not just friends, because when you lose a friend you cry for days and then everything passes, your life remains normal, but when you lose your soul mate, your eternal love, everything in your life collapses and is exactly what you hear with the sherlock, they are more than friends, they are, they are more than lovers they are souls souls made for each other and I think this series and books make it very clear, it is not a simple friendship it is more than that, it is the purest, true and painful love and it makes me feel the saddest person in the world because I will never be loved so no one will suffer for me to the point of wanting to kill themselves when they didn't, on the other hand, and madame hudson did not intervene, i believe that sherlock would really kill himself for loving john watson. Wow..... I've seen this video before a lot, when I was way more obsessed with the Sherlock fandom, but it's been a while and today, after watching it, I am actually crying. I'm not one to know WHY. BUT WHY??? this video was made brilliantly. your video is one of the few videos that calls to me emotionally now. Awesome. This song carries us from Season 3 Episode 1 to Season 4 Episode 2. The Season 1-2 are the flashbacks to show just how happy John & Sherlock were together. Mary comes in Season 3 & kind of spoiles their relationship but fixes it it later. Let’s say it was a little bit of Sherlock’s fault too that their relationship was spoiled because He was the one who died & showed up after 2 years. In those 2 years John goes through a hell lot like going through the 5 stages of grief & that all. When he comes at the last stage of grief: Acceptance (which almost takes 2 years) he looks to start a new life with Mary & then Sherlock comes. At Season 4 when their friendship is back on Mary dies & John watches his love of his life dying, he blames Sherlock & again their relationship fails. Then at Episode 2 Sherlock calmes John down & they become best friends again!
