A taste of the May 2023 Charity Glider Aerotow meeting at Sherlowe Aerodrome in Shropshire. We had a brilliant day on our visit with brilliant weather and great company. At the event there was a healthy mix of modern and vintage glider designs including;

Cracking video 😎 For me it’s always going to be the vintage gliders 😎 Amazing how small a 3 meter glider looks among the big ones

I'm not sure whether I prefer vintage or modern machines. The vintage gliders seem to be more forgiving, and come in a wider range of shapes and colours.

Hello again, it was nice to put a face to the name when we meet at Sherlowe back in May. What another great video you've put together again for the the aero tow and I like the way you mixed in some drone shots adding a sence of the scale to the whole event, many thanks. Ian

Amazing video! Even busier than in 2020! How long is the tow rope?

On these bigger machines, the rope was typically 50 - 75 feet

@@fly-xenon There were several tow planes of various designs at this event, but not the Draco on this occasion. We use the Draco for 3m span models at our local field. Our Draco towplane conversion video is here; ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s7wxJwOtc2I.html
