Kris should get a noble prize in Literature for all his creations, My favourite Poet, Maan, how great could one get. Any song, whose lyrics blow me away, I find is penned by Kris. And still, he is so unassuming, humble , low keys, like he is just another guy... That makes if beyond great. All my Respect for Kris

Dave Cote That's what I find the greatest do... They are way beyond and above to vie for space... They do what is best for performance. They shine ever so bright even in the background.... I've heard Sheryl herself do the awesomely back ground to a Vince Gill jamming- Lay down Sally,.. And boy, was she good.. it was like a whisper, undescernible, adding a rich texture to the main Vocal... K D Lang with Dwight Yoakam, Dwight doing back vocal for Brandy Clarke, or taking backseat to Tom Jones*s Last Time.. But their greatness shone through...
I think if any one could come close to Janis in doing this song, it would be Sheryl Crow. I like the "Heart & Soul" Janis put into it, but Sheryl is a close second. I've sang to this song on many road trips!!!

Julio mcGee Very nostalgic and personal song , that is perfected by the heart and soul not by the perfect sync of musical instruments or vocals. To the contrary, the slight imperfection adds to it's authentically in appreciation to the songs informality.
Kris may not have the greatest voice in the world, He cant sing in key, but I absolutely love him and his music. He is one of the greats as far as I am concerned. What a song writer!
