This was the tune I waited for always to get played at the night club in the summer of 1984. I really can't believe it was way back then. This tune inspired me. It just has that special something. I recall she was in a Sci fi thing on TV called 'V' in 1984 too. Anyway thanks for this wonderful record. It gives me much joy.

One of my absolute favourite disco tracks of all time. Timeless and still punches me in the soul everytime I hear it. Still can never be a wall flower when I bust this tune.

Wow! What an amazing sound. I don't recall ever hearing it , although I grew up in the 80's. Heard it on the radio last weekend for the first time and googled it so here I am. A great sound.
You are right, but the comment is funny: in the 80's, music was so big, it was worth investing in HQ recordings: just listen to No.1 albums from the 80-ies: this quality will never ever be reached again. Why? One album could make you a millionaire (Jackson-Thriller, U2-Joshua tree, Pink Floyd-Dark side of the moon etc. etc.). But indeed: amazing sound :-)

WOW I just watched a christmas movie on Hallmark and I saw this beautiful black lady and the minute she started singing a christmas carol I had to find who she is... google, wikipedia, discography and here I am. This song is FANTASTIC. I'm in my 30s so I didn't know her but now I do. Love it.... and I see from the comments that the clubs in the 80's were really FUN :)

The drags queens in Atlanta used to work the hell out of this song back in the days. The DJ put a more of a techno/synthesizer spin to it and was awesome.
