Like I said, comedy here in Canada is not the same, the audience is different, by the time they catch on to the great talent of a comedian, its like 10, 15 years later. No 1 knew what she capable of for years up here, I saw her stuff when I was a pup and thought wow look at the talent. I just saw a TV show with her on it and NO she wasn't swearing, but was much more funnier, at ease and she even dissed Jr, GW Bush. SHE WAS VERY CLEAVER....but on this she was ok,I'm still a fan. but this was dry!
This was done in Canada, dang go figure look how Sheryl had to tame down her material. I feel sleepy, oh its so boring, she still good though, thats how you know a comedian has skills.....Go to a place where your not allowed to be real but still stick to em smart and get a laugh.
Just came across this. It's not so much that she had to be clean for Canada - it's more that she had to be clean because Just for Laughs is broadcast on a network before it goes to cable.
......ummm yeah I've seen her stuff on TV and it was never clean, anyone I know that go's to yuk yuk's and any other comedy show in Canada, say the same thing....They feel that the comedian was holding back, special when you know their material.
