I think a lot of people have issues with speaking or reading out loud to an audience. Although I believe that the African American culture have a more generational issue with reading period.
Izzy Izzerton - I caught that, too. Perhaps since Julie only talked about her own eyes and not all of Asian-descent folks, it's not being viewed as a representative statement. Perhaps... I love Sheryl. And I take her jokes as just jokes. I've heard DL and Dave Chappelle make similar jokes, and they're all just to be taken as obviously UNTRUE antiquated stereotypes. But I understand that people would be upset. I get it.
