As someone who owns a house that was built in 1948 and when I say built it was built. It has 14 inch round logs and or old telephone poles for floor joists in the old area and the addition has 2x8s with 8x8 support poles to the basement floor. BUT, The flooring doesn't squeak it snaps and pops lol . I've gotten used to it but sometimes when I'm trying to sneak a snack I'm instantly busted by my dog's. Anyway I loved the video and I would love to see more of you and your father on here . Thank you for sharing this with us brother and have a great day

Ive used that same thing. Worked amazing. Right through the carpet and the screw head broke off below the carpet. Cant even tell.
