Hopefully there is no next interview. You made him waste so much time. You were so disrespectful not looking at him when he was talking, taking notes, and asking questions as if you were interviewing a movie star. The master was best example of tolerance. And your broken English was a disaster. It was shameful. I don't mean to offend you. It's my perception and my honest truth. Sorry. :(

When you do what Isra García does, OR what Shi Heng Yi does, then please feel free to sit in that chair and judge. I'm so offended by the characterization of "Broken English" as if to imply he is less than, not as smart, not as capable. He speaks English well enough for you to criticize him. lol And I'm 100% sure he skims right over unproductive remarks such as the above.
How wonderful that you are helping the world to spread these teachings. It's such a gift to be able to get a glimpse into that once hidden, vailed and mysterious culture. I'm glad I found this channel. Every example helps more people to believe they too, can do practice and achieve these practices, whatever that practice may be. Namaste. 🏯🌅🌄
@ Interestingly, I'm at a live course this weekend and doing more "public" speaking than ever. I'm much clearer and articulate than I use to be but I get so excited about what I'm talking about that I still speak very fast!

The comparison I can make between the Western mind and the Eastern mind is, The Western mind wants to achieve their goals as fast as possible in order they can relax and retire just like a sprinter covers a certain distance as fast as possible, but doesn't remember much about his journey between point point A to point B and it also takes more time to recover. But the Eastern mind I would compare for going on a walk where someone covers more distance but is more aware of their surroundings and is not as tired at the end of their journey.
I've started to follow Sifu Shi Heng Yi in May of last year. You are absolutely right when he speak, he is very inspiring and with much wisdom. Sifu Yi is truly a master, with constant practice and discipline I would like to follow the path of self-mastery. I am truly blessed🙏 to be able to learn from this master, thank you, thank you. 🙏😊❤️
If you are in a monastery around people following the way, it fine tunes and raises up your own energy. You meld with a greater energy source which also includes wisdom.
Thankyou to the Great Master Shi Heng Yi for this insight into the shaolin tradition set in such a beautiful setting. I can totally relate to the philosophy and wisdom of self mastery and the Shaolin virtues. There is such simplicity truthfulness and honesty within the teachings that I personally try to incorporate into my everyday life. I am fascinated and intrigued by the transmission and portrayal of the teachings from such a great master and express gratitude for his generosity of relating and sharing the Shaolin message to the world. My sincerest Love Peace and Respect to this dear Master 💕 🕊 🙏

Shi Heng Yi🙏....some days are a great reminder of your teachings. Todaay is one.there is a fellow in the complex where i live who is in his late 50's 9 yrs younger than i.he suffers from periods of very bad depreasion but under it all has a kind heart.a little difficult to talk to sometimes because when he's depressed he has some dillussions and appears to talk to people that are not in his preasance but as he says they are with him at that moment.people tease him sometimes too much but i don't.i knew that if someone just treated him with a little respect and understanding ,it would take away his thaught of being alone and afraid of the world .he braught my mail to my door today so i thanked him and smiled and said your a good man my friend thankyou,and shook his hand in respect for his deed.well he started a littlee smile and proceeded to tell me he's with one of his favourite rockband members so i said thats good you have a great day buddy and he got a bigger smile on his face as he walked away.end of storey.🙂🙏
Thank you so much for not adding music in the background while he is speaking. Almost of the videos about Shi Heng Yi have this traditional Chinese music edit in the background that distracts from what he is saying. Thanks for keeping it clean of background music! Buen vídeo Isra!

Each time I feel.down....i just listen or look at him...and I get totally realignement in myself , joy and determination again...even if IAM not a practitioner...🙏🙏🙏

Firstly I was really confused 😞, I have this feeling for peace within, self realisation from at the age of 15 , today I am 17 and I got many answer to my many questions, thank you soo much sir for this beautiful ❤️ podcast , I respect and admire all your hard work , now as I got to know , putting in practice is basic and I will practice from today it self , thank you very much for this and lots of Thanks to master shi heng yi as well , I am glad at this early age I am doing all this my life will change because of you sir . I like this so much… I agree that “retreat” is a key to enter the place where you can learn first. For 2 years I am practicing this retreat in my life at my home in solitude free from distractions and agree it is how to find your path🙏🏼

@ you are learning humility and have a nice sense of humor just watched your July 5th video of the experience at the temple...I especially liked day 4....and you have more plans to travel East? great....there your white belt may change to beige...the running,,,the zen meditation...and Shaolin at one point it will allconnect.

Thanks for releasing the podcast audio first, its more meaningful n interesting to watch this after the podcast, now I can see the expressions of shifu accompanying his meaningful wise words n the beautiful passing rain n sun, the cute furbabies strolling by n going up to shifu, the bees attracted to him n his glass of water(i felt the urge to refill his glass of water 😄), the peaceful trees at the back, n the lovely cherry red polkadot blanket used to protect your pc(though i feel u shouldn't have left it on the ground/curb after use..). Thanks for making n sharing this very real, sincere n refreshing interview with Shifu. 🙏❤️

Ahora, lo que te quiero comentar y no lo digo en plan ofensa,... es q me parto con el acentazo “espanish” que te sale, no por ti sino por mí y por todos los españoles q lo tenemos igual! 😄...visto desde fuera me hace gracia como sonamos cuando hablamos inglés los que aprendimos en cierta época (que soy de tu quinta), no como los niños de ahora que con cuatro años tienen sus profes nativos y tal, jeje. He vivido muchos años en país angloparlante, hablo inglés “perfecto”, pero el acento... yo sueno como tú y me hace gracia “oírme” desde fuera, Gracias 👍😊 Hala, me pongo a ver el video. Thanks for the opportunity to hear him. The wind is blowing up by bass system, sound wise, so it's a bit distracting. If you could do something to have a more clear sound, I think that'd be awesome.

"What`s your favourite book?" "I don`t read". WOW. As someone who readsprobably too much and owns probably too big library, I am shocked :) But on the other hand, it may become some kind of motivation for me to let go of too much reading. BTW, a great conversation. Thank you both for it. Shifu is Someone I could listen to for long long hours.
haha that answer got to me too 🙂 i love books n reading n used to dream of having a cosy big old library with lotsof books to read n just immerse myself there n read everyday n night.. feels so peaceful.. books r sacred n should b cherished, its wonderful u have a library n should make the most of it since u already have it. 🙂 ultimately its not about reading or not reading, enjoy your books.
