My shiba Inu came from a Amish family that left it outside in a cage with his siblings and mom for most of its 8 week life. He didn’t know how to react to the toys we got him, but after patience and lots of playtime outside. He is the best decision I have ever made.
Awe 🥰 love it❣️ I didn’t get to see my Shiba as a Puppy... she either ran away OR was kicked out by her first owner and then hid herself under my house when Winter started. 🤔I’m guessing she was nearly a year old at the time. 🤷♀️Everyone asked me what she was and thought she’s a small deer 🤣 I didn’t know. She seems to be a cross breed with an Italian Greyhound. Short-haired Shiba but thick and soft red coat. I love petting her. 🥰 Didn’t know most her life till the Vet told me she’s a Shiba. After watching these RU-vid Videos about Shiba’s... I thought her personality was mostly from being abused but now I see it’s mostly the Shiba personality and she’s healed from her childhood trauma 🥰 Back to when she was young and found shelter... Pet Rescue couldn’t get her out from under my house when she found me. Per Rescue also told me she’s acting like she was abused by her previous owners. 😥 SO I was left to build trust and adopt her. She clearly knew whom was safe... super smart. But it took a bit longer for her to warm up to the men in our home. She was my girl then became a “Daddy’s Girl” and now My Girl again since I’ve been home to care for her. She’s older with a few health issues. I’m the Nurturer. She knows 🥰
