@@whatcouldgowrong7914 One question if you don't mind: If I remember correctly you said that you don't like the Quant Asylum audio analyzer. Can you explain why? At least in the 403 version it seems like the best buy for the money today. Older analyzers will likely perform significantly worse and are mostly as expensive (or even more expensive). The only potential disadvantage I see is that there is only software, no buttons. If precision isn't really important I could see why an analyzer like the one you presented here might be useful as well.
@@sebastian_harnisch Sure, my quantasylum is an older model but they basically cut off support for it which means it wont run now without an old windows 7 computer and they refused to even update the USB driver just so customers could get them on newer OS. It also won’t run without a powered USB hub which adds noise and a real pain to use and it’s measurements were inconsistent for me. I wanted a separate analyser so I don’t need a computer to operate and it also supports up to 100Vrms which most computer analyzers won’t take that sort of voltage without blowing up. I may get a Cosmos ADC for spectrum analysis but Im not keen on investing with quantasylum again as they just want to sell you new gear.
@@whatcouldgowrong7914 ah, that’s understandable and very good to know… thanks! The input voltage limitation also is something that I don’t really like, although with +-56Vp it shouldn’t be too much of an issue in my case… thanks again for the insight
@@sebastian_harnisch I did pay a lot for the shibasoku also as analysers are really rare in Australia. The Panasonic VP analyzer is probably the one to have and impressive features but there is a HP one also that can take up to 300Vrms which would be incredibly useful for my electrostat use
