In this video, I found my SVT Focus Shifter not working properly. The car would not shift into 5th or 6th gear. There is a small bushing on the back of the transmission where the shift cables attach that can be terribly worn out. This makes getting the car to shift properly difficult. Also, there was a white plastic piece on the shift tower that was broken and fell out of place. This also contributed to my shifting problems. After talking with experienced members of the SVT Focus Facebook Page (join if you haven't already), I was able to dig in and fix the problem. Many different sources exist for buying these shifter bushings and other miscellaneous parts. Please purchase from an active member of the SVT Focus page such as the following:
Vince Morasco, Admin of "SVT Focus shifting issues and solutions" page on Facebook. This was the source for my Delrin bushing as seen in this video.

Matt Rowe, Owner/Admin of "5 Acre Focus" Facebook Page. He works on these cars and offers a metal shifter bushing for purchase as well as many other hard to find SVT Focus parts.
