YES! 2019 I bought 4 houses in Ohio, flipped 2, and flipped 2 houses in California and am planning on doing way more in 2020 and moving into commercial as well! Awesome! Thanks for sharing! Perfect timing for me!
Kris krohn is a super successful real estate investor yet he primarily does single family only. He said if he had to start over again with 1 million or 10 million or even 100 million dollars he would still pour it all into single family.
Can you provide information on how you linked up with a partner that complimented where you fell short? And how you convinced them that these issues would not be an issue?
The universe in a way helped, but met at a local real estate meet up and started to work together. Both were doing things the other didn’t enjoy as much and formed a company shortly after.
Wow big congrats!! I’m in the process of trying to purchase my first single family townhome. Down the road I for sure want to make the shift. Thanks for sharing!
Sterling White, Do you think would feel differently about switching to multifamily if you paid someone to manage the properties? It seems like doing so would solve most of the cons you discussed.
Midwest is a great market if you live there or are from there...the West Coast is a bit more expensive...lots of variables in any market positive & negative...
Sterling, great video. I also saw that interview you did with Grant Cardone. You now have 587 units. Amazing! I have 13 units in Kansas City, Mo and am now priced out because that market is appreciating very well. I was wondering where you invest (Dayton& Indianapolis only) and what a good resource is besides BP to look at the metrics to research a good market? City data and Sterling’s best places are what I usually use. Any others?
I am a new real estate investor, and I want to know if you have any tips on how to buy multifamily? I am currently investing in townhouses, and I want to make a move to buy my first 24 units. Thank you for those inspiring videos!
Dayton Ohio area is a great area...I have focused my efforts there last few years and grown to 14 properties/21 doors with a goal to double that in 2020. I am sure Indianapolis is just a great a market if not better.
Understandable to have some fear! But it's also important to be able to overcome that fear by understanding the strategy (entrance and back-up exit strategies) behind REI. Our forums are a great place to talk to fellow investors and learn about how they made it work! biggerpockets.com/forums
