If I could say, I'd say that this piece is really what kaori feels, it's that she's shocked about her condition, angry about it, but then she finally accepts her condition. I'm a violinist myself and I know how hard it is if you really love to play your violin but then you can't even hold the bow... A violinist who can't hold the bow can't play the violin, after all.

At first I felt kinda disappointed cuz I thought that the song supposed to be more gentle and be like a light sadness. But when I heard your arrangement for the 3rd time I realized that this cover also made me feel sad, just in different way. Other arrangements be like, gentle and light sadness, tears in silence, but yours is like a strong sorrow, it mades me want to cry out loud. So I just want to say that you did a really good job, man :D

I might be the only one who think this, but in my opinion, his banging on the keys was kind of like a symbolism of pain and agony. The frustration of not being able to hold on to something because you've already lost it... The pain of remembering and loving someone who you can never see ever again... I thought the face-paced and heavy banging really symbolised the raw emotions. It was almost like he was crying out for help, crying out for that hand he longs to hold. This performance took my breath away ;(

This song is hurts alot "I remember your smile" Means Kousei wouldn't see Kaori's smile again because she gone. Kousei was in love with Kaori too so that rlly hurts. "It floats up in my mind and i cant help but smile" Kousei always remember the girl who tells him how to live, he smiles because he will be grateful her, helps him play piano back. "Surely, just as we were that day..." the day Kousei meets Kaori first time, the day he and her have a performance,...now he cant were on those days again.... "We'll run through the passing seasons" Kaori is gone, but her still lived in Kousei's heart, Kousei will coutinues playing Piano for her death. "A spring with you...." "Seeing each of our many tomorrows" Well sadly, Kousei wouldn't see Kaori, forever...

I would say it's crazy how powerful this song is with the weight of the show behind it even after months and even without words, but I know just how powerful the original show was, and it's almost understandable how much even this can make me cry. God, it's so good.

Although I must admit I didn’t cry at all while watching this show, (I honestly don’t cry that much at anything, but if you do, that’s cool) this show really touched my heart. I started watching it on Netflix, a few years after all my old friends had told me to watch it and I’d cry my eyes out. I’ve moved since they told me that, and a lot has changed for me personally, but I’m glad I finally watched it. It’s so sweet. I feel like it’s about how you can touch and inspire other people without even meaning to (like Kousei to Kaori during one of Kousei’s recitals when they were young) and eventually, your kindness will be given back to you. Kousei had lost quality of life. He was just hanging around with no purpose, paralyzed. His two old best friends can’t do anything to help him. But along comes Kaori, who finally gathers the courage to approach her idol, and slaps some sense into him. She’s so selfless, fixated on giving what he gave to her when they were both so young back to him before she passes away. I just really appreciate that message, about friends, about artists, about kindness, and about life. No other words really come to mind when I think of this show other than “sweet”, “precious”, and “inspiring”.

Same sadness after I finished my favorite book. For I know there will never be another book as great as it.

I love this song so much. It screams feels, and pain. Seeing as the ED shows Kaori lying, and crying in the water, I am getting scared her death flag has risen to unmeasurable height.
