Shigechi’s death was the saddest for me because you can HEAR the despair and fear in his voice when he sees Kira in the reflection, but then when he twists the doorknob, it’s too late.

Shigechi’s death shocked me and made me realize Kira would do anything to protect his identity. Like even tho shigechi was annoying sometimes, he was just a middle school kid. He just wanted friends and to protect his family. Yet he died early because Kira knew he had to kill him. This show made me feel so many emotions and even tho part 4 was more time compared to others, I think I that’s what made the deaths hurt more.

At first I really wanted shigechi to die but honestly the way they drew it out really made you feel sad for the character, like the way everyone else treated him poorly, him wanting to protect his mom and pop, the fear in his voice, it was genuinely really depressing and gave me a little bit of teary eyes
