I've just seen the Shigekix battle vs Kid David from 10 years ago or so. One thing that I notice about his style is that its packed with so many moves and he seems to try ro catch up to the beat to try and catch a beat. His first round is the perfect example of this and he performed similar against Kid David. Which is typical of the asian breakers in battles. In so many words, there sets are almost synchronized to certain music and appear to routines whereas Bboys in the States are more about fluidity and catching a beat with a freeze is more so a coincidence rather than a prediction. The battle was good but it became lack luster towards the end.
