In this lecture we will discuss bolted joints with both primary and secondary shear forces. This same content would apply to pins and rivets as well as bolts. We will also use MathCAD Prime 5 to calculate shear forces and stresses in the bolts.

At 55:50: For Fcx'' and Fcy'' why was Fb'' used? Shouldn't it be cos(beta)*Fc'' and sin(beta)*Fc''

Also wouldnt Fcy" be 0 lbf rather than Fcx"

@@bhumilpatel1204 It has been a while since I recorded that video, but just looking at it does make me think you are correct. I probably did a copy and paste and forgot to change the force that I was referencing and it does look like I switched the x and y components. Great catch!
