shila is pure malay from malaysia. this charity programme Dream Star Partner or Meng Xiang Xing Da Dang was in china. there are other songs from her in this shows, "you raise me up", "an xiang/hidden fragrance" etc. do checkout other videos under Shila Amzah Shilalaschina or NBH NBH (both with eng subs) or under Shila Bar_X for full episodes.

This song is one of my favorite an immortal song that whoever sung it will be notice. She's a jewel of Malaysian I never heard any singer when I was in Malaysia for 25 years of stay such a very inspiring unforgettable voice that I will not forget in my whole life. She raise me up.

To do justice to a song, you change it significantly. Like when Dolly Parton song, "I Will Always Love You," Whitney changed it significantly. Dolly sounded like a cat on a hot tin roof trying to get off. Shila Amzah song Whitney's version exactly the same without any significant stye change input. So where is the justice in redoing a song the same way? So check yourself. .
Dolly Parton wrote the song "I Will Always Love You" back in 1973 so I think you have to give her a lot of credit for that. Whitney Houston's version is AMAZING (no doubt there) and not easy to sing (so Kudos to Shila) but I like Dolly's version as well. If you don't like country & western music then you won't be a fan but Dolly Parton is an icon and has written and performed a lot of excellent songs over the years, including this one ... so check yourself when dissing on Dolly.
this song was written as a goodbye to Porter Wagoner when Dolly left his show -- she wanted to him to know how much she would miss him - and loved him --- she sang it to him on the show on her last day ---- Shila's version isn't the same as either - so good for her ---
