When we visited this pace in 1986, ours was the only family there, later a few arrived, I studied nearby in Kendriya Vidyalaya School, in class 2 then, I remember taking the jungle route with my teachers and classmates if ever our bus failed. Shillong was very safe for children then, even with disturbances by militants.

Everyone is free, anyone can be visiting that place. it doesn't matter where he/she belongs from within the country or out country, non Indian citizens or Indian citizens.
