Helps with concussion protocol and "getting kicked out" of games. They pull you out for series, under mandatory concussion protocol based on the impact of hits.
I’m surprised the Nike let him go back to CU. Smitty is golden. He and Coach Prime hit it off immediately when he arrived as CU. Smitty anticipates what you need and that’s priceless.
You can really see how much more peripheral vision that helmet has. I've never had the pleasure of a helmet so nice. Looks amazing. Hope it protects him most importantly.

I have to say that football equipment in general has come along ways since I played football and that was 28 years ago in high school my senior year lol. I'm 46 years old and it's just amazing how football has evolved in the past 28 to 30 years, I wish I had today's equipment back when I was playing in high school or even junior high lol.
