Shimano is the only reel company I will use. I've been using them and around them since a very young age. Shimano Antares DC. This Shimano Antares is the 2016 Shimano Antares DC model. Shimano 4x8 braking is the most advanced digital control system I have used to date. Shimano Antares DC was one of my all time favorite reels at one point and from time to time I switch which shimano reel I use the most or like the most but the 2016 Shimano Antares DC is the best shimano dc reel I've ever used..
