Shimano Deore XT 4-Piston (BR-M8120) - Brake Upgrade (Dartmoor Primal) 

...lets switch to english ;) Question: Is this brake really worth it or not? Yes, certainly in case of front brake setup and for hard riding, heavy bikes (e-bikes), long and steep descents (enduro/downhill). I would say, nice-to-have as a rear brake, it does provides better heat dissipation, so it might be considered for sure. In addition, I've broken two BR-M8000 calipers (!), single pot, on the rear, with sudden braking in the past. Four pot calipers have a bigger chassis, which makes it more durable and reliable as well in such cases - Cheers!

Thanks! H03C (M8020 series) pads are used here to compare with N04C (M8120). With M8120 caliper I'm using dedicated pads - N04C.

@Jorge Albarran I have used exactly the same bajno hose - the bolt (short one) was included with caliper, to connect those.

Banjo bolt has changed comparing to M8000, now it is a short one, which is a very good thing comparing to previous version. It was included with caliper (in the box).

...it's not an easy thing, but it looks they are the same i've compared the marks on the pads, definitely the new caliper looks smaller, but on the other hand it's thicker, 35mm old one (8020), 39mm the new one (8120)...

@@michal.stachanczyk I heard they are the same, I still don´t understand how they fit there, but thanks you for the effort :)

@freddie brown honestly, i don't think i can feel significant difference :) I may need a bit more rides. I do expect the pads to last longer though. Cheers!
