This rod is a 60 to 40 blend of graphite and glass giving it the perfect tip and backbone for chatterbaits. Legend says it’s the best chatterbait rod on the planet! Lol I do own 5 exprides including this one dedicated to chatterbaits. I’ll occasionally run some lipless cranks on it, but anyway good review man! If you like that Expride you should try some more they’re amazing for the price!!
I’m not a big fan of glass rods. They just feel dead to me. And I don’t lose fish on graphite rods, so I’ve settled on a Megabass Destroyer P5 Madbull. Super versatile moving bait rod and if I’m spending $500 on a rod I want extreme versatility. No knock on the Exprides though, they’re fantastic. All Shimano rods seem to fish at a higher price point than their MSRP. The Poison Adrenas have almost as good of blanks as the Steez AGS rod I have but only lack in the guide train. I’m not brand loyal, I like to try a bit of everything
Hey great video. I just wanted to make a comment that that I have that ex pride as well and I mainly fish chatterbaits. And I have multiple fishing rods for them. So with all of that being said if you get a chance Pick up the Savage gear battle Tech vibrating jis vibrating jig model and try it out it may change your mind
