Dizi Does Downhill Productions present a video how to reduce the clutch tension on the Shimano M5120 rear derailleur on Dex's Polygon Siskiu D24X.
We remove the clutch cover and loosen the tension screw.

I learned a while back that typically it's best to clean any mech before worrying about adjustments or lubes. I had an issue with a stanchion that I kept oiling and eventually cleaned it which was the issue. So once the tube was cleaned, sticktion was eliminated.

@@dizidoesdownhill no worries. I view vids all the time that if the viewer knew the best way from the start and that other temporary shortcut options are available, they are better informed. I am pretty new to all this myself but being from a tech background...well enough said. Thank you for your time to film-assemble and edit this video.
