I am from Lahore, The video has been captured beautifully and skillfully. I am much impressed with natural beauty of India and I also appreciate the Indian Railway Management. Thanks.
Dont compare with Switzerland or any other country . Switzerland is Switzerland and himachal is himachal . Both are good in their own place . Remove this inferiority complex
Monu Bhai, thanks a lot for re-living my childhood. I was in Shimla, erstwhile Simla, then in Punjab till my age of 15. This video made my eyes moist due to sheer happiness & thrill you created. I was muttering the names of Rly stations before you were announcing. I too enjoyed tea-pakora with you. Thanks for all the efforts and running around in this freezing cold and later editing of the video to present this 23 mnts of wonderful experience. Hats off to you & your team.
They should change the train now to something very modern with Vista coaches and a train set on an electrified line. It certainly has changed quite a lot since the late 80s when I was a kid travelling every year on Himalayan Queen between Kalka and Shimla. Unlike many who want to preserve age old traditions on railways, I am for advancement.
I travelled in Shimla-Kalka toy train Himalayan queen but in summers. But the train speed is really Slow and the tracks are too thin as well compared to normal Indian Railways. :-) 😄😇
Yes that's why it's called toy train It's a narrow gauge track Elevation at starting point Kalka ( railway station) is 656 m asl and at Shimla( railway station) 2075 m asl It has 103 tunnels 988 big small bridges and 917 curves and sharpest curve is of 48° so the speed of the train is 28-30 km/h Well this journey is all about experiencing beauty of mountains rather then reaching shimla quickly
Siich a huge snowfall in Shimla and surrounding areas I never imagined The rail journey was an ultra white journey in the minus temperatures was a huge bonus that is unforgettable Thank you very much
Thank you so much for showing such a beautiful journey and sceneries. What a nice explanation it was where you described the historical facts of a couple of amazing railway stops in between. Thank you so much.
Indeed A Very Nice Vlog Monu Ji For a Person Who is Experiencing Snowfall For The First Time. Looks like You are a Warm Body Person. But it’s always very Exciting to Experience live Snowfall . I Hope You made Beautiful Memories with Your Loved Ones. 🙏
These trains are built to last and give absolute travelling experience but charging ports are missing in some of them because of old built, rest everything is great
Very nice video brother! We are from Hyderabad. We have visited Shimla in May, 2008. Our tour was in summer and we have not seen snow fall either in shimla are enroute to Shimla! We had to go to Rohtang pass to see the snowfall! This time we would like to see snowfall in Shimla itself! Thanks for your nice videography!

🥶 I’m disappointed that this train (especially 1st class) does not have heating! 🙏🏽 Thanks for the video. You travelled when it snows which looks so special. 👍🏽
