Hi! Did the pedal eventually become smoother with time? Or, is it still stiff? I’m considering this kind of wheel and would love an update! Thank you!

It's better, but not ideal. I'd say like 3/5 for the pedal overall.

I have thrown on a few different Brent in some community settings. They are also great wheels. I would say the two (Shimpo and Brent) are very comparable. I ended up not getting a Brent only because I really do not vibe with mustard yellow.
