Well done explication of Shin and how Shin adherence begins in "defeat", i.e., the acknowledgement that we are bombus, who in this Mappo Age of Dharma Decline, cannot attain Buddhahood by our own efforts...which is why we put complete reliance on the Buddha Amida, whose infinite compassion, "grace" and merit alone grants us Shinjin in this life, and guarantees our ultimate attainment of Bodhi in the Pure Land.
I have a question regarding right speech of the eightfold path: It is mentioned that abstinence from idle chatter is one of the modes of right speech. Looking deeper into idle chatter it categorizes talking about being reborn in this life or that life is also considered idle chatter. What is the difference, or the discernment between talking about being reborn the pure land of the Buddha, and avoiding idle chatter as to maintain right speech?
Amitabha never materialized as a Buddha who brings dharma to a samsara world; not a Tathagata. He was a Bodhisattva who remained celestial when he became a Buddha. Namo Amituofo! Hmmm....I might be wrong on this. A Tathagata is one who went from samsara to nirvana and then out of nirvana to help sentient beings so, yeah. I guess he is!
ĀMIDA IS NOT A Symbol, He is a REAL Enlightened Being And his pure land is a real place to go to after death, you’re contradicting the pure land masters such as hōnēn and Rēnyō you do not represent Jōdō Shinshū you modernist teacher
