It's a remake of both Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger.

1st episode was wow 2 much happenning at once. I hope they explain it all and not leave loose ends or they will seriously screw the original series. Animation 10/10 - classic layouts with new animation looks great Story 8/10 - still have my reserves as far as the way they handle the new storyline.

It's a complete reboot with elements of very single Mazinger continuity rolled into it (with some Devilman characters in too).

i don´t like the seiyuu so much the seiyuu from Mazinkaiser was more better and all the cast too. But hope the bring a Shin seriers from Grendizer and not Mazinger Z or Great

hey i dont get it is this a remake from the classic mazinger z or it continues from that because i thought the old deries continue to mazinkaiser.

Seems it really is a remake of Kanjite Night, not just a song that happens to reference the title. Oh well, sounds cool.

I suppose it wont be hard for them to include the grendizer story into this one as it is still part of the continuity. But i think having Sayaka and Maria in the same show is letting Koji having too much fun lol.

Will here be a "Boss" robot? :D I wanna see a Boss robot powered with coal or whatever they used to fuel it.
