Warner A Really? I couldn't tell whether a man or woman was singing this song. At some points throughout the song, the singer sounds male, and female in other parts.
I really enjoy how this opening baits Honda as some clever mastermind pulling the strings yet when you get down to it he's one of, if not, the biggest victim out of this whole incident.
I swear, I was antagonizing that dude the whole time and then my heart broke when everything went sideways for him. Want to do another playthrough partly to find out if there’s a decent ending for his story.
Well because there's a song called reset in ds version. SOME people do prefer that version. It generally sound more like 80-90's anime opening. This one sounds like normal jpop rock band. But imo i think this sound way better and more meaningful lyrics than reset. I think more mainstream can hear this kind of song. it tied to one character that matters in the story. Other than that, Reset is really hard to listen. The DS Opening visuals are more lazy. And i think this having the same standart that the most of visual novel opening at that time... But at the end of the day, there's lot of elitism and hipster thing in megami tensei fandom in general. Just make sure you know.
At least it have wacky demons and a interesting plot aside from lasting 8 days at most, but here is more boring and also I don't see my DS summoning jack frost wich makes it objectibly worse.
@@shelbybayer200 Idk that might not be the case considering soul hackers is coming back, marking 25 years since the first entry and 14 years since the last devil summoner game but tbf devil summoner was one of atlus' bigger successes
@Motoko Chan I didn't say it was great but at least Hibiki didn't have to wait for someone else to put an idea forward before getting a say in anything
Yo same. Between the game and the manga, I feel both satisfied and not because I'm so attached to the cast I love DeSu 2 very much, but I wish we could've at least seen/heard about what everyone was up to even though it's not a direct sequel (and they'd have to commit to a 'canon' ending)
Nostalgia... Sadly my brother sold the fucking SD card and didn't even spare the packaging T_T I wanted an anime adaptation but I'm fine knowing there's a manga and I'm currently reading it if no one was familiar with this manga reply I wanna get many people familiarized with it
I know this comment is from three years ago, but you know where can I read it? Because the only page that I found had only a few chapters and I tought it was an unfinishied manga because of that.
@@franconunez925 You could buy the volume Like there are 8 volume (funny how there 8 volume) Amazon or Kodansha should have it if you want to collect it

I just started this game and the tactical rpg like gameplay is amazing! Plus I love Yuzu and Atsuro! Does other Shin megami tensei have the same gameplay? I started smt4 too and I know it's a bit different but I would love another tactical rpg smt
Tbh this game was probably a nightmare to port over and overclocked is actually pretty buggy just not in ways the player will ever notice, they probably did the bare minimum graphics wise so the game would actually run

@@revolver2750 choose to help the angels, regardless of the ending you want. you have to fight the demons anyways and the humans are easier than the angels imo.
@@tavernadodevilhunter6732 I can agree with you to an extent. I don't think Reset is bad but I also think that soul survivor is way superior. The best way I can put it is the reset is very video gamey sounding while soul survivor sounds like an actual song that a Japanese person would hear on the radio. They both have their charms tho.
@@ms.yawhaw8831 IDK, I completed Akane route from my first playthrough and it was supposed to be the hardest (based on the 8th day). Almighty dance magic with some strong mage, some fast demon make damage shield and few demons with revive skill. The game is easy as long as you abuse revive and healing skills to the fullest and not forget about SP management. You can make one team into "nurse factory", hide it away from enemies and ressurrect your team unlimitedly.
I only have played the original but damn sometimes i think overcloked it's a downgrade first the plain cover and now this horrible opening compared to the original
Overclocked gameplay wise is a huge upgrade, extra days to 3 routes, 2 more save slots, phys is a little better, there's actually a compendium and there's full voice acting
really? i think it's the other way around. reset is bad. it's like 80's-90's anime opening. this just sound better and tied to one of character haru. The lyric have good meaning too. unlike reset that basically just saying everybody should just reset, despairing and never believe everyone.
@@raywing638 I guess it's the rhythm and sound. Reset sounds more kickass and makes me hype to overcome dead and survive. Also, I think Reset has better visual representation than this one that although Reset isn't superior to this op. At least in Reset, I can see Tokyo is a big mess, big explosion, red sky, some bosses but this OP is like a slideshow of major characters with music.
