There must be something I'm doing wrong then : \ But I can't quite grasp the idea I have a lv 99 Flaemis with, like, 130 Magic, but when I try to fuse it with stuff (Despite having the miracle) it's not THAT much of a boost...
@@burlone4342 make sure that your other stuff you’re fusing flaemis with has those fusion bonuses as well. If only one demon has the bonuses then it obviously won’t be as much but you have to start fusing the elementals with a majority of your compendium but make sure you’re registering your empowered flaemis to save those bonuses you already have
@@jfiggy7145 Mhhhh, i see, of course Even with another powered up demon I don't see that much of a difference though... Well, I'll try some more! The only downside is, like, a registered high-stat flaemis now, is like... 650.000 macca, I don't remember if the price was that high in the base game... oh well Thanks!
Thanks for pointing that out I would still consider that to be a new fusion "method". 4's filter system was convoluted in my opinion this is better and more streamlined but yes you're correct
@@lVlalicious if you have a previous save file you could load it and that can fix it or if that doesn’t work then you probably have to use the quest finders in Odaiba like the other person said to get the essence
The main reason behind the stat buffs is both the prayers and the bonus from the two demons level. If the pairs levels add up to or past 142 you'll get so many extra stats plus the stats from prayers, so make an elemental with endgame demons at or around 99 and reap the rewards. Then fuse into one of the parts of the special fusions which lets you build other strong demons. And yes this works in Vengeance as well. Also the stat prayers stop working for demons 20 levels past their fusion level. Ex Jack Frost starts at 25 but at 45 will not get extra buffs from the stat prayers.
Too late for a reply. But I hope it helps. The bonus stats are actually RNG. Meaning if you think, Nuwa NG+ has low Mag Stat, exit and enter again. Mag stat will change. Special fusion monsters greatly benefit post game due to extra bonus stats during lvl up. What it means is Alice and Idun can be a lot stronger if you re-fuse her again using ingredient demons after lvl them up. *lvling up demons which are ingredients for stronger demons are good up to 20 lvls only then they are good to go. It means eg if initial lvl of demons lets say 20, lvl him up to 40 and bonus stats are transfer to other demon. No need further lvl up demons. Also, elemental demons are needed to transfer skills from one demon to another instead of using essenses. *to create a strong demon needs the ff. Abyssal Mask, Pleroma, High Pleroma, Enduring Soul, High Restore. Then piercing Elemental/physical skill then multi elemental skill. Its better to have passive skills rather than multiple skills and has low damage/effect. Boon boost EX, High Heal Pleroma, luster candy, debilitate for Support units like Idun, Demeter, etc.
Thanks for the clarifications I was wondering, if I use +20lvl material-demons to fuse another material-demon for a special fusion, will the special fusion benefit from all the previous levels ? I'll clarify with an example : let's say I want Shiva, needing Barong and Rangda. If I use a +20lvl Scathach and a +20lvl Valkyrie to make a strong Barong, then give 20 levels to him, will my Shiva get all the bonus stats from Scathch xp+Valyrie exp+Barong xp, so worth of 60lvl of bonus ? (I ignored Randga in this example to keep it simpler)
@@jordandantzler1957 woah. I did not check my notifications until now but. I already forget lolz. However, this is related since SMT VV is coming. The theory of @fulgurobaboon1321 is correct. In fact, I saw some Idun and Nuwa Alt (waifus) in reddit site and their stats are horrible. Because they only fuse once. Also, they did not bother to level up the demon materials like for Nuwa Alt, thus her stats are horrible. My Nuwa initial Magic stat is 139-ish without any essence. Actually, if you do not want to fight demi fiend, high stats are useless, but in Vengeance, he is free to fight. We see streamers screaming in pain lolz.
Great guide! I just picked up SMT V as an introduction to the SMT series. Looking forward to using the methods shown to optimize demon builds when I get to the endgame
What make Elementals special is simply that they Fuse with almost anything and either make the Demon of the same Race the next rank up or down dependant on compatibility. The ONLY exceptions I can think of is they can't make Special Fusion demons. (In this case rank refers to the relationship each demon has with others of the same Race in terms of base level)
I was about to comment this too. If anyone is further curious for the reasoning behind this long standing fusion staple, it's because the elements are supposed to be complimentary or contradictory to the race. Add more fire to a generally fiery race and you get the same race with more fire (the next demon up in the race basically) but if you add water you'll get a less fiery demon (the next demon down)
Idk if anyone has mentioned this but an easier way to farm mitamas is to goto the. First place da'at Minato and farm macca there. Since the mitamas are level 10 it only takes one almighty skill to kill them.
I haven’t tried vengeance out yet but I assume this guide applies to it. Once I get around to testing it I’ll mention it in the description and comments.
I'm trying to figure out what I need to fuse chernobog. I don't think he shows up in vengeance for negotiations and I don't know what material I'm missing for him. I can't summon khonsu until I get him.
@@gottesurteil3201 try the fusion calculator not sure if vengeance has one yet but regular SMT V has one I think also I think you have to fight him to unlock him
@@gaarazerosama because the earlier your demons hit lvl 99 the harder it is to gain those bonus stats so theoretically you can gain stat bonuses without leveling up
If you’re really that intimidated into getting into the game there’s no shame in choosing the easy difficulty and learning what everything does but I’d definitely give normal difficulty a chance since this game’s story isn’t that great and the fact that the difficulty is what this series is about but overall its challenging on normal but not impossible
@@djcleveland9192 Persona is actually a spin off game from SMT hence why there are demons from Persona in SMT. Believe or not SMT has been around for a very long time even before Pokemon.
I believe I got it from one of the essences can’t remember off the top of my head but if you're close to the end game then you should have whoever it was in your compendium
