A band like Shinedown , one of the top rock bands around today , to do something like this for fans is amazing. I love their music. The lyrics are wonderful and true. Your family has been blessed.

Either way,people singing along or not, whether he played it to "everyone's" liking or not, still pretty dope to have him play in your home!

I'm in the UK, just learning some of the guitar in Shinedown, came across this. Amazing, amazing hearing your friends and family sing along. It's also cool that practically every song translates ro acoustic version. Proper feel good stuff in these messed up and difficult times. I got to see them in a high school auditorium and before second chance started Brent came out and walk up to my buddy in a wheelchair and I. He said a few words to us privately and thanked us for being there before dedicating the song to him and singing right in front of us.
brandon heape it definitely was a highlight of my life. Many many years of singing his songs and then singing simpleman with him was something I never imagined.
Wish the kids weren't there. Made the first set of shinedown in my house videos. That and obviously the old guitarist. The first 3 albums came from the emotional struggles Brent faced and he still continues to put a lot of emotion in it that is unfortunately lost in this instance with the child singing it
Don't get me wrong I love Shinedown but the best part of this was the kid singing like nobody is listening that was beautiful cos that's what music is all about it's meant to take you to another place
You've got no idea how hard it is for a singer to sing in a small environment like that , and EVERYONES SINGING ALONG. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️😡😡😡... unless it was kids , if it's kids 👏👏👏, outside of that , it's brutal
