I'm so in love with Brent's voice he has one of the best voices I hear hard and I have the us and them deluxe version and I love this version I would love for shinedown to perform this song live again I love those guys very talented ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This is the best version of this song...it gives us all a chance to cover to an extent. Its nice and peaceful, not everything requires to jump up and down, moshing, screaming. Just sit back and enjoy.

Maybe you should check out some newer videos. People change but Brent can and does still hit those notes.

He is amazing. You can tell he his voice is slightly out of wack, but he still does an amazing acoustic cover.

Am not suprised he sings the same as the studio version cause the notes he hit are unreal! its gotta do some damage hitting them notes all the time. still this one has a nice feel to it.

He is actually singing with a blown voice!! They toured so much with LAW and US and Them that alot of videos during those tours he blew his voice.

@LukaRaPtoR Haha, not at all. He sings it differently because this is an *acoustic* version. Listen to their live songs ("Somewhere in the stratosphere", for instance) and you'll see that he still has got his awesome voice. And you want to compare Brent with Liam Gallagher...? Really...?

this guy is awesome...this band is awesome i would like to see liam gallagher sing this or anyother singer from the likes of coldplay to fucking one direction....shineodwn are all amazing

just thought I'd correct you. He improvises because he CAN'T sing it the same as the original. Not to say he's a crappy singer or anything, but he sets himself up for failure when he sings so high on the album

Nah, just a Shinedown fan incredibly disappointed in that every single live performance of "I Dare You" sucks shit and Brent Smith can't even hit any of the high notes to match the album's sound.
