I want to add my name to this too. SHINee got me into Kpop. Over time I sorta got out if it as more of the groups I listened to stopped putting out music or just disbanded. Stray Kids brought me back again.
Yeah but the question is will they have time for a comeback? because everyone is enlisting now, what if the boys return and then Taemin has to go to the military service?
@@staybyheart9021 Well, you do have a point... I guess we'll just have to see where it goes. If not a full SHINee comeback, we can at least get some solos, and maybe even a subunit :D
True Shinee members are so extraordinarily talented and unique individually that when they come together as shinee....that's damn epic They are legends
I'll never forget the hype for this album w/ Jjong's shirtless pics and Taemin's weave and everyone's anger at SM for the ad that you can't click away, because it made it difficult for gif makers lmao. Legendary era.
I especially hate when I tell people, other Americans, that I like Kpop; here come the comparisons to the Backstreet Boys, One Direction, Nsync, or Michael Jackson. Now, while all of these people (aside from the Backstreet Boys and One Direction) are very talented in their own right, they just aren't as good as Kpop. Nope, not even Michael Jackson. I can hear the collective gasps as I type this. "Blasphemy! Michael is the king of pop!" Eh, maybe. He's gone now though, and American pop music died with him. This is coming from a former fan of Michael; I used to absolutely love his stuff. But i've grown out of it for the most part. And contrary to popular opinion, Michael isn't the best dancer either. Yeah, he's a very talented dancer, and the best at what he does, but he isn't the best in the world. I've seen kpop routines that have impressed me far more than Michael Jackson has. Michael inspired a lot of what goes on in pop today, even Kpop; but that doesn't mean that no one could possibly measure up. So, I just wish closeminded Americans would give Kpop a chance rather than to write it off because it's Asian and they don't understand the lyrics. You can feel music too, you don't necessarily *need* to understand it; even Michael would agree with that.
When this song came out, of course I liked it, and found the choreo to be fascinating. What I didn’t foresee is how exquisite and timeless this song would feel in the future. This is peak k-pop.
most people in the general public unfortunately didn't really like this song. I think Jonghyun has even alluded to that once, how Sherlock kinda tanked on the charts. Luckily though, it did become iconic due to their style and the choreography, paired with their amazing live performances of Sherlock.
@@NoctLightCloud WHAT??? it's definitely one of my favorite tittle tracks of them and I think it's way better than lucifer and ring ding dong and it has my favorite ever choreography from them how people did not like it?
@@gwgwap I think the hacked "I'm.So.Curious" chant combined with their overall "loud" vocals just didn't click with the general public although it did previously with Lucifer. Idk some also didn't like their style here
i'll never get tired of saying this, scherlock choreo is not only the most expensive choreo in kpop, but it's also THE BEST Choreo in kpop , its so fascinating and so pleasing to the eye.
Catalina Gonzalez Ikr SHINee is awesome! Yeah me too, I'm desperately helping them this way (by changing my name) in order to get more attention because they certainly deserve it! :)
Happy birthday, Jonghyun. You're 30 today. You're a great detail from this world. Your tracks won't be erased. Those who love you will continue to love you in heaven. Watch us there. We'll always be together. Rest in peace, nice man ❤️
I think this is my favorite kpop dance routine, because they really make use of the fact that there are FIVE DANCERS, instead of just doing the same dance moves in sync, which is impressive too of course, but I like to see a group really working together and I feel like they do that here... go shinee!
oh lol i was just writing like the exact same comment lol. glad i read yours first, and i obviously totally agree. I think kpop does a really good job of that generally, but shinee is especially good at that kind of complex choreography.
Tam Nguyen I DO still kind of question whether that is all of his hair... or a wig? LOL. His hair is usually pretty long... but this is, like, untouched for months long right here, LOL.
Dijon's Imaginarium LOLOLOL! =D It's a...weave. Extensions, you know? It's his real hair until a point and then it's just fake. My friends and I questioned that for a really long time too...hahaha xD Yeah that *would* be untouched-for-months hair. If the company wanted that to be his actual hair...man that would have taken a reeeeaaally long time.
Tam Nguyen Ahhhhh, it makes sense now! LOL. I'm terrible at spotting that kind of stuff! >_< LOL. My sister actually does hair, and every now and then I'll see her and think... "Something's not right. Her hair grew way too long overnight!" LOL. Thanks for clearing that up! :D
Dear Jonghyun, I am still crying over the news of you leaving us way too soon before your time. My spirit is crushed and my heart is broken. This is my very favorite of SHINee's songs and you just shine here. You brought such light and life to this world and all the time you were suffering. I just can't stop crying. You were beautiful, you gave us your all and held nothing back. We loved your sense of humor, your compassion, your talent. You were not defined by the title "idol" because you were so much MORE than that. Who you were as a person, we still loved you. Idol or not. That's just how we got to know you. May God rest your soul and may you have found the peace you were looking for. I'm so sorry you had to suffer so much but I pray that you are not suffering anymore. We will watch over your sister and your family and show them love and show the guys love. Please consider yourself hugged and loved. God bless you. Rest in peace our sweet Jonghyun.
It's still hard to remember that just harming yourself is a sin so I pray with u for all the good souls who committed suicide we don't want our parishes JH to be know as a sinner but more as an angel he did love God 😥🍦
ice cream - I'm not exactly sure what you're saying about suicide, but I definitely do not believe that what JH did was anything other than acting out on his pain. And I believe that God can sort that out of what his motives were or weren't. That's not for me to decide. I don't want to get into a discussion any deeper than that. I am simply showing my support to Jonghyun. Bless you friend. ❤️
+joseph dela torre Technically didn't use that name, (s)he said jesus which isn't the same. And relaxe it was just a observation, wasn't meant to harm anybody.
I absolutely love how every transition in this dance flows so well, you don't even realize that they changed positions at some points! It's a pet peeve of mine to see group members simply walk into position when transitioning to another part of the dance(ik it's necessary, especially for groups with more members, but still), so that's a breath of fresh air! Sherlock has one of, if not the best, choreographies in kpop for sure.
