“I’m crying in the club” has never fit so perfectly.

I don't know if this happened to you, but I was like "That part is something like Jonghyun would sing". The first time I saw it, I was literally dancing and crying at the same time. Is a bittersweet comeback for all of us

I just realized while watching the mv again in this reaction that Key was carrying around that golf club in a way that mirrored Jonghyun in Everybody. I was too distracted by his hair the first time.

Two things: 1- Key running through the woods, looking back and then smiling. 5- the fifth shadow

That ending scene at the well with the extra shadow has got me feeling some way since the video came out. All the hidden tributes like the extra chair really makes this so bittersweet.

It felt like I was waiting for Jonghyun to show up. Most of Shinee's songs open with Jonghyun singing so when this song started and I didn't hear his voice, I felt like something was missing.

"I feel guilty for feeling happy." Couldn't have said it better. My heart hurt as I watched it. Bitter sweet. *sigh*

The lyrics talk about how they'll see him again... And the Fox is Jonghyun..... Note the 5th shadow in the well that went down as they back away at the end....

I literally cried in the club last weekend cause they played Lucifer and my drunk ass just couldn't lol kpop parties always get me with that Replay when it's 3am and I'm emotional. I hope this song will help me finally dance to a SHINee song and be trully happy.. not feeling guilty that I am

I've had so many mixed emotions waiting for this comeback. I'm really excited bc I missed my boys and I always look forward to their comebacks, but at the same time there was a bit of dread in my heart like you were saying it cements the fact that things have changed. But still I'm so so proud of them and like they mentioned in the 10th anniversary vlive, SHINee will ALWAYS be give. The fact that Jjong isn't physically on the stage didn't mean he isn't there in spirit. I am certain he is watching over them and cheering them on. SHINee thank you for a beautiful 10 years. Yall honestly described my feelings to a tea. I was so excited but at the same time my heart was like looking for... yeah. But I'm happy. I know alot of people were apprehensive about the comeback, but it may have been something we needed. Not so much to "move on", but to be okay. To have a feeling of it's going to be okay.

When i was watching the mv, the part where they are in the forest and Key looks back for a while makes my heart stop. I was just now able to listen to this song. I feel guilty for not supporting SHINee right away but I couldn't bring myself to do it. However, I felt like I could do it now and I wanted to do it with you guys. Honestly, I felt sad and wasn't able to enjoy it as much knowing Jonghyun would never appear in any anymore songs from here on out. However, I also feel proud that they continued on and did such an amazing job. I think this was the closure I needed.

Its quality fan content like ihs that made me fans of yall in the first place. I have been rocking with SHINee before I even knew who they were (Shout out to Boys Over Flowers playing on the Korean channel with subtitles back in 2008) and they have gotten me thru some shit in my life. But no one i know fucks with SHINee like i do, no one can understand all the complicated emotions that come with being a true fan of 10 years and this comeback as well. But yall do, and Im always grateful to see that someone somewhere share the same feelings i do over everything SHINee. Thank you for making this reaction video, i know it was tough emotionally. Also, the song it sounds like to me is Cupid by 112, just sped up.

112 Cupid was the bgm used in SHINee's GOOD EVENING. Look it up. The group helped with composing the song for SHINee. What I loved about the mv tho was that the group was reaching out to Jonghyun so references were made about him, they want to see him, they want to feel his presence they want to see how he's doing. This song really showed just how much they miss their brother, it brought tears to my eyes. I really felt GOOD EVENING gave me so much closure to finally accept Jonghyun's death because Minho, Key, Taemin & Onew gave us that closure.

I was just thinking about how bittersweet it was like how happy and sad they must have been while making this song, mv, and the albums. It’s weird feeling two extremes at once- two absolute opposite feelings at the same time on top of that feeling of expecting something like it felt so right and perfect yet you still had that expectation and have to come to terms with not having it met and I think that’s what made the heartbroken side of this so much deeper. Things get surreal when you see the products y’know? But even though it’s incredibly sad it’s also incredibly amazing- they all look amazing, sound amazing, the song is a bop, the choreo was on point, and the video was beautiful.

bittersweet is honestly the only way to describe this comeback I 100% agree. I love it and they sound great and the song is awesome but...my ears won't stop picking up on the absence of his voice. my eyes can't adjust to the 4 person formation 😞 regardless, I've really missed you guys and stay strong! I hope you guys can pull through this and you don't lose your passion for SHINee and kpop in general 💜

All our emotions are out there , but i must say even though i wasn't one of their biggest fan , but these guys , you can't watch this comeback without having some tears and a smile on your face , because after what they went through , they are right now doing something no other group can do , they proved that they are one strong family alongside their fans , im sooo proud of them and im soo happy for them . I totally understand how you guys feel. I think all the shawol feels the same way. The first time I heard the full album I was paralyzed, static in my bed. The second time I cried a lot. The third time, I could not stop smiling. Now that I have checked the lyrics of the songs on the album, I see that they reflect the feelings of the boys and also our own, transmits something that we need to listen to and sincerely comforted me in a way that nobody has managed. I was in sm town in Dubai, i was trying to hard to not crying, but when they was singing and taemin sing the jonghyun part. I can’t stop my 😭 .. because this song meant to be JH song. I had been avoiding watching the MV because I knew it was going to bring up all kinds of emotions I was not ready to deal with, and because of that I didn’t want to watch it alone. So I decided to watch it for the first time here with y’all, and y’all definitely made me feel better by putting these emotions into words. Thank y’all for sticking with SHINee and for your continued support. And thank y’all for y’all’s videos, that have helped me get through some really tough times. It means so much to me. I also wanted to add that that moment when the group was in the woods and key stopped and turned around like he had heard something but it wasn’t something that scared him, just something that made him wonder and then walked away with a smile was EVERYTHING. I can’t explain it, but it felt like a part of me was healed.

It really is bittersweet. It was good but I just couldn't help but feel like there's someone missing because I'm so used to his presence and he had a big presence in the group. I waited for this. Thank you for sharing. *sad music cue* So I watched so a lot of 'good evening' youtube reviews and I believe we all felt the bitter sweet emotions in varying degrees. That heavy realization yet waiting and anticipating for something that we know won't come. A huge space that won't ever be the same...? Because it just isn't. This is how it is now... you know. It's so hard not to feel that lump in your throat. Breathe. But you held it together and were able to focus and shed light on the precious members who chose to stay together and work hard to bring us new memories and healing, both ways. I don't know but I appreciate the love and support we're all walking together ...healing and moving forward. Because we have to. Love you guys. Support for all.

The way you listen to the album is how real fans of a group do. The ones who drop MV reactions here and there and funny moment reactions that you could react to by oneself defines a fake kpop reactor.
