Japanese people tend to keep their emotions inside, it's sometimes hard to tell what they think or feel, especially if you don't know them personally. Look at this man, his face. He tries to play it cool, but he can't contain himself when he hears the music he plays, you can tell it by his body movement and his smiles. He absolutely loves music.

This set has a great vibe. What I also like is the relax sitting and enjoying the tracks as they are. A lot of DJ's I see in all those video's are SO busy with turning the knobs and all that shit which seems somewhat useless or is more "for the show". Not with this guy, only when the transition is going from one track to the other there is some fading and stuff and that's mostly it. It's what I always would expect to see. It's not that you just have to tweak EVERY second the amount of bass or what ever.

i think a lot of nervous DJs overthink it, then go into doom spirals of controlling everything. like "oh no I cant stand here doing nothing".. just have to remember why you got into DJing, because you love listening to good music.

DJs will often touch (or tweak.. as in rotate it just off-centre so you can feel it sorta click back in to the neutral position when you turn it back) the pots/knobs to ensure they're in the correct position. its sorta like DJ-specific OCD. you can see the same with old mate in the video constantly ensuring the channel upfaders are at the right levels

Disscovered Shingo in 2017 on a trip to Thailand. Never looked back since. Back then it felt like I was part of a secret club no one knew about. Now hes more popular but his music is what i thump to on my way to and from work. If anyone could hear in, they would be surprised i was bumping to this, considering the job I have. 😂😂

すごいすごい！　自宅のスタジオでしょうか。一人飲みしながらDJしてるところがめっちゃ好きです。制作用かと思われるセットアップも驚くほどシンプルなんですね（コレ褒めてます。だっていろんな機材持ってても使いこなしてなかったら何にもなりませんから）。それにしても立派なマウス！この部屋からいつもの素晴らしいトラックが生み出されているのかと思うとワクワクします。皆さんのコメントはほとんど英語ですが、私も日本人ですので（英語も話しますが）、あえて日本語でコメントしたいと思った次第。Keep up the great work. We love you!

@@manumusicmist Granted, the setup doesn't appear to include a MIDI keyboard, but there are plenty of producers who ''draw' (rather than play) MIDI notes in the piano roll view of their DAWs.

Love the music that this man produces. He always has a smile on his face and is so happy to be doing this music which brings us listeners so much joy. First time I heard his music I was mesmerized, then I was in awe at what he could do. I found then peace in my life like non other and have him to thank for making me relax. Now I enjoy and let others know of this man and his music. He is beyond being called an artist. He is beyond being a master. He is Shingo Nakamura!!!!!!
