Power Morphicon 2018 Shining Sixth Rangers Panel Featuring: Nikolai Nikolaeff Dan Southworth Phillip Andrew Cameron Jebo Mike Ginn Jeffrey Parazzo Justin Nimmo Recorded at the Anaheim Convention Center August 17, 2018 (08/17/2018)
“Team Gold, Team Silver, or Team White?” Justin Nimmo: Silver! Jeffrey Parazzo: White! Mike Ginn: Gold! Cameron Jebo: Yes. Phillip Andrew: Silver-ish... I guess. Dan Southworth: Uh, are you color blind? Nikolai Nikolaeff: Sorry I’m late. What was the question?
Shame that they didn't get gold samurai, solaris knight and silver RPM ranger for this one, but Still i loved it, specially the morphs screams at the end, instant like
They’re also lucky that I wasn’t there cause I would’ve asked him and Trent’s actor to reenact that scene from the shining! Trent and Antonio: come fight with us Tommy… Forever… And ever… And ever!
Good thing Mike Ginn and Li Ming Hu appear on panels from time to time or RPM would be completely forgotten, although it's one of my favourite Disney seasons
Honestly I agree with this statement. I believe RPM gets a lot of slack since it's written so differently compared to other seasons. However, it's that difference that really makes it shine and makes it stand out. I mean, there ARE probably other sentai series that could have been better with that tone (the zords contrasted a little too much with the tone, honestly they were pretty goofy). Would I change it though, no. I'm glad we got a gritty Power Rangers series, though it was only short lived.
I would have loved if someone like Jason Chan aka Cam was there and when they asked what was it join the team later be like I was there the whole time lol
24:02 I’ve actually seen Gokaiger (the season SMF is based on) and I’ve gotta say I think prefer the OG sentai silver mainly because I love he’s basically an in-universe fanboy who gets to live out his dream of being on a sentai and whose knowledge of all the previous sentai teams is invaluable. I think that’s something that can resonant with a lot of us ay?
It may have worked for the show, but I wasn’t a big fan of Gai. It seemed like being a fanboy was his only characteristic. My personal favorite 6th Ranger is Bouken Silver. They may have sidelined him a bit as a ranger but he still had a great story and an excellent suit and weapon design!
Thank you very much! Means a lot! Please keep a look out for all the rest. I unfortunately did not stay for day 3, but day 2 still has great stuff especially the live reading. I will do my best to make the presentation look good.
After hearing Dan’s comment about the chemistry between him and Alyson, I feel like I have to ask this. Was the Taylor/Eric pairing the only time the series hinted at a relationship possibly forming between Rangers from different teams? Though, given Justin’s comment about Astronema and Zhane, I guess one could argue that that pairing should count too since she goes on to become the Pink Lost Galaxy Ranger. That being said, there haven’t been any other potential inter-team pairings besides those two?
Why hasn’t someone picked up and ran with the idea of ‘power rangers bootcamp’?! It could be like rock and roll fantasy camp BUT FOR POWER RANGERS! You spend like 3 days or a week or whatever training and exercising with previous power ranger cast memebers? I’d wake up at 5am for that! Lol
i mean even before that disney literally had a teamup with 4/5 disney in Operation Overdrive, Tori, Kira, Bridge and Xander all came back. also Sensei was some gatekeeper dude in samurai and Boom was Mick in Ninja Steel. i think Chip did some monster voices, i know boom did. and werent piggy and genji the same guy? yeah dont reuse my ass
@SuperKamenPower except out of the 2 legit crossovers they did in Super Megaforce, one was Disney (jungle fury). and Ranger red, from RPM. was in Samurai. also like i said the Sensei from ninja storm was in samurai and several people including Boom either came back as actors or VAs. so yeah
My question for Orions actor would’ve been. If he could’ve added anything from his counterparts personality into Orion’s personality what would he choose?
41:11 I got to say, Jeff is cooler than even me, if I was in Trent’s position Adopted (with a Capital A because… Reasons) child of a wealthy businessman and all, I wouldn’t tolerate earning respect from my teammates only to have it denied and it’s probably because of what Dino thunder is at the end of the day, but because they didn’t save Trent (never mind whether or not they actually could), I just cannot justify their feelings of betrayal because Trent’s loyalties lie where they’re earned and only where they’re earned and what do unfortunately also lie where they’re not earned and I’m pissed at the other Rangers for acting like they aren’t as loyalty and I’m also mad at Trent for not showing backbone against them when this happened.
I posted 2 years ago now that the guy who said the q-rex was the best zord and I still have that opinion today. The Predazord would destroy everything with one predator wave
9:51 I looked into this, if anyone can tell him what I found please do. Mike Ginn is somewhat right here, there are numbers but they're on the zords. Gem's zord is number 7, but as Gemma's zord is number 8 that would actually make Gem the 6th ranger and Gemma the 7th.
But by the Fandom, they’re both Sixths. Sixth isn’t always just a number. It’s also a personality: they usually join for their own personal reasons… usually redemption.
First of all power ranger wild force is my childhood I love it is the best power ranger and I will never change it now I'm here thinking why people love Merrick not the actuall power ranger
