Okay so I cried... wept in fact. One can only imagine the kind of trauma the boy had endured that made him sleep in a room with a corpse for days instead of speaking up. If he had raised an alarm immediately she may not have died. Lesson: let children feel free enough to speak up. If it was the girl that hit him with the ball she would have run to her nanny, called her mum, not try to hide. Home should be a safe haven not a battlefield. Abimbola well done!!!
I love this movie..kudos to bimbo...i had to call my son to watch the part where the boy mistakenly hit the ball on the girl's chest... I had to tell him to always be careful when playing with his mates....no rough play please..our children will not die in Jesus name.
I am so proud of this movie, remembering my child hood I might just do the same thing that boy did, the fear to make mistakes,I would rather cover it up,my dad was worse than his father, I hated home, dreaded his coming home. He even luckily had a loving mother, mine died at 6 years. This might be just a movie, but I tell you it could have been my reality, I just never played with anyone growing up. A lot of things happen to children who are treated like the boy in this movie, but we really don't talk about it in this part of the country, we don't talk about how beating a child can get abusive, this narrative was a step father, so yes we can understand why he probably has no emphaty, but I tell you my dad did the same and worse to me growing up, my own father. This movie is speaking the African/Nigerian truth. To all the producers especially the script write thank you. I have not seen a movie that talks about what a Nigerian child goes through in an abusive home. Thank you.
This is a very difficult movie to watch. I'm a mental health practitioner. I work with children, and I much say Bimbola you out did yourself. Kudos to Fiyin who played Ufoma. Please be sure to get him into talk therapy after this role. For him to unpack and process the role he played. It's very important. Weldone.
I cried and cried and cried, this reminds me of my childhood my growing, i understand the trauma that little boy (Ofoma) went through, single mother's don't choose any stepfather over your child, consider your child's mental health it's not easy to get over it. This brings back my memory as a child. I pray for every child going through this to come out safely, they should find and feel loved somehow 😭😭😭😭😭
Kissing in movies is nothing bad, it depends on the type of movie. You cannot do a highly romantic movie without some kissing scenes. In fact Hollywood does things worse than Nollywood movies. It is just make believe and nothing emotional or serious.
The movie didn't need any romantic scene that needed kiss so why would there be kiss? Our mentality and ideology on this kissing thing will kill our industry if we don't study about it well. Every story has gotten its proper scenes and a romantic movie will surely call for such so no problem about that. If we want to talk of culture then maybe we can ask our writers to avoid romantic movies and scenes. Kissing is not bad in movies if you ask me but it depends on the kind of movie, even though some over do it.🤣🤣🤣
@@khalmenaya I’m sorry you went through that and I’m glad you’re out. Sending you hugs and wishing you the most beautiful life for the rest of your years.
I really pity the girl's mum kai😢😢😢 I pray no parents will have to experience that pain she went through And the boy, even with the mum taking the fall, i can tell his life is ruined already. He will have to leave with the trauma all his life 😢😢😢 Hun may God help every single parent to stand for what is right for their kids
Honestly, a boy capable of dragging a human up the stairs and cleaning the stairs deserves to be in a rehabilitation centre of some sort. Imagine the menace he would become as an adult, especially now without his mother. So sad @FaithfulnessEbenezer
The kids did a marvelous job. Thumbs up Bimbo. This is totally different. You made me cry and say more prayers for myself and children. Thank you very much Bimbo
Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha you are a legend! Glad to see Ernest Obi again, Bimbo you are a queen, this little boy deserves all the trees, such a great actor. You see that little girl, she's taking over the screens, just watch and see... Oh Lord I cried 😢😢
@@denniscasely-hayford3245 The little girl is too much, I don't know the right adjective to use. Honestly this movie deserves to be recognized next AMVCA. Nigerians are good 💯💯
Two things I got from this movie; 1. A nanny cannot take care of your child like you. 2. Your child can be abused, brutalized and damaged under your nose, befriend your children and always find out what they are going through, simply providing for them is not enough. PARENTS BE PRESENT IN YOUR CHILDREN'S LIVES!! Well done Bimbo for this masterpiece.
The nanny taking care of the child wasn't actually the problem. What happened would've still happened, because the child would've gone to play next door regardless. The issue was the "independence " she was trying to instill.
@@omorogievamaureen7293 It wouldn't have happened if ma'am Chioma had agreed for the nanny to stay behind whenever ladipoe comes to play with her son. Am so emotional watching this film.
I'm still in awe of the ending. I struggled to hold back my tears cos as a mother, the pain of both women hit me raw. Excellent movie by all standard!!!
What a movie! 🎥👏 It's been a long time since I've seen a Nollywood film end in such a tragic, traumatic, and emotional way. For the first time this year, I didn’t fast-forward a Nollywood movie. Kudos to Bimbo and your incredible crew - this is truly a masterpiece. The film is packed with valuable lessons for everyone: families, neighbors, kids, mothers, fathers, and single parents. Bimbo, this movie deserves a part 2 and even a part 3! Well done on creating such a powerful and thought-provoking piece. 🌟🍿 #Nollywood #MustWatch #BimboAndCrew #BimboAdemoye #MovieNight #LifeLessons #PowerfulStorytelling #Gbengaafolayan
I like it when movies pays attention to little details, like when they moved and got to Lagos, the box wasn't empty and had the plane tag on it. Some producers and directors would have missed that. You may not know it as a big deal, but things like these show how attentive one is. Kudos Bimbo.🤗
I agree, i can't help but notice when they show us lady wearing make up and wigs intact on bed to sleep or waking up. Or same hair, and you stated "2years later " I like it when the team pays attention to details
Wow this film made me shed tears Parent needs to give listening ears to there childern and make them there friends for them to open up to every slight issues in there life WOW BIMBOADEMOYE YOU KILLED IT As well as those teo kids
I enjoy reading these comments. It shows that mature minds were watching this movie...I admire how some viewers were able to talk about their past trauma...This is what a movie suppose to do..ignite meaningful conversation ...not the nonsense I am here for this person or that person.
Oh my Lord,,,,,Lopeda can act please.....shes so so so good....so vibrant...was somehow hoping it will all be a bad dream,,,i mean...maybe just somehow we get to see more of her and Oforma....The Boy did great as well..
I tried to hold my tears back but I couldn’t 😢😢 this movie is a lesson to always pay attention to your kids no matter how busy you are. Interesting movie with great actors, everyone deserves there flowers 💐
Men I feel for lopeda mum ...can't get it out of my head....means even as we vowed to give the child a great future ,we shud be present in there lives...it's not only money
I'm not even gonna lie, this is the best RU-vid movie I've seen. No sexual content, not too long yet filled with messages..... omooo I cut cap Madam Bimbo... this is AWESOME❤❤
Ah!!!! No I Cried!!! Was just thinking about my girl all through!!! Thanks for this masterpiece momma. Y'all nailed your role. May God continue to strengthen all single super mum out there!! It's not easy.
I cautioned my self from crying because l was crying like something terrible happened to me......l couldn't hold it ....Bimbo you did this...the bad and worst we did while growing up,quite unfortunate for this little one.... I learnt to tail my children... don't give them too much freedom...many bad things we did while growing up out of ignorance.....
I have been married for 10yrs now to a wonderful man. I got married as a single mother and i have no regrets. I had many suitors then, but i took my time and settled for the right one i was really sure was going to treat my child with kindness and take her like his own. I vowed never to get married if i didn't find such man. I lost my younger sister recently who left me with her child, and my husband said we should adopt her kid and raise him as ours. Love or money is not enough to make a relationship work... love is kind, love is selfless, love is patience, love is unconditional, love is peace. Choose wisely. Nice one sis @BIMBO
Earnest Obi is one of the greatest actors, directors, and producers. Bimbo thank you for bringing him on. I'm here for him, although I celebrate your craft.❤❤❤❤
Scared to talk about what he did to a fellow child, and he knows what abuse does to him. My sister leave that matter the boy has psychological issues that has nothing to do with what his step father did to him. The man was not able to control his anger, but the child had his own bad behavior, he never does anything he is told to do, that is a deviant behavior that abuse does not cause.
@@chiomanwaogu7555are you serious? He tied a child, burned a child with iron and you're justifying that?. People like you would do same to a child and justify it as anger issues.
The kid actors in this movie wowed me.. particularly the boy. Very realistic. @bimboademoye your messages were heard LOUD & CLEAR. Thank you for this and WELL DONE
@@harrietlaphase364😂😂 mine too. I predicted that the Ufuoma's step father would realize his mistakes and beg for forgiveness when Ufuoma becomes the biggest baseball player in Nigeria.😂
Omg who agree with me that Bimbo production suppose to be in cinema or Netflix because her movie is very educative and mature.kudos to you my favorite ♥️🥰🥰
GOOSHH! Bimbo you have a way of making me cry, watching your two produced movies😭😭😭. As for these talented young actors, we will love to see them more. Thumbs up for the beautiful story.
Now, these are the nigerian movies we need. Not what has become of Nigerian movies, all bbl and love and fairly tale endings. Nigerian movies used to be about moral lessons, and this is exactly what this movie delivered.
The storyline and everything about the movie are impressive. It's clear that some children face real struggles in their families, and I pray for God's guidance for them. Keep excelling, dear beautiful and intelligent actress! Sending love to all involved.❤❤❤
If you were upset that Bimbs let the little girl kpai in the movie gather here😢😢 i cried😭😭😭 The little boy went through so much and in the end had blood in his hands and that evil father nothing do am 😡😭😭 Chai what an emotional movie with a great lesson 🥹🥹 i bet if i can sleep well tonight movie just in my head 💔💔 Lastly, the little boy deserves some flowers hes a great actor❤ the lil girl too ❤
Bimbo pinned her comment she said no spoilers, thank God i have watched the movie, some people are yet to watch it so lets not spoil it for them by letting them know what happened
🔊🔊🔊 please a little louder - those in the middle to the back didnt quite hear you.... as in there is more to this life we live than the kissing fest/sexual positions/heartbreaks/storylines that leave wondering what did i miss....😜😀
Dammmmnnn, i cried like a Baby 😢.. A mother's love is indeed not fickle❤❤❤.. I have to get my mum a gift 🎁.. This movie is so well done.. Kudos to the casts and crews❤❤❤❤
God knows I wasn't prepared for the end. Bimbo you outdid yourself , this was a fully packaged movie and it's sad to know that a lot of children are still going through this . God help us as parents to be discerning and be friends with our children. I really cried at the end
I swear to God i would rather be homeless with my child/children than stay under the same roof with anyone like that boy's stepfather 😢😢😢. This breaks my heart. Sending hugs and love to all the mothers going through hard times with their children ❤❤❤.
It can never be me with such aman. I hate putting my life on test like this. Peace of mind is my no1 priority if I can't have it let my children do. My children my life❤
Things like this, mothers need to keep a lot their children did to themselves. Get some good job and take care of their child. Marriage is not everything 😩. Most African children are going through these things which is breeding armed robbers, prostitutes, etc.. As for me I will blame both parents.... what do you also thing?
Who else was thinking the wicked man would be responsible for the death of the girl till the end? This movie is out of the usual. Such an interesting movie ❤
The direct implication of the psychology of fear in children. Kudos to Bimbo and especially the director for bringing out the best in these child actors.
What! Bimbo outdid herself this time...I stayed glued to my screen..she made us fall in love with Lopeda's character, only for the unthinkable to happen to her. Na dis one dem dey call movie. Everyone nailed their roles especially the kids! Well done Bims!
Kudos to Miss Bimbo, you are truly a shining star, this is beautiful one of my best movie. Omo I cried o and INA OMO ONI JO WA O,AIYE ONI FI ARIDUNU WA PA WA LEKUN. Bims thank you for this.
