i just wanted to make small difference, I like to give head canons for some anime characters as blasian or mixed, hope it doesn't disturb too much

@@mikayuushipper1939 there are so many people who hate and spread negativity on pages that whitewash.. I’ve never seen someone whitewash a character without people telling them that it’s wrong. And the characters aren’t white but since the creator clarified that they made her blasian it is fine, it would be different if they made her black since it’s erasing asian rep. Tho making white characters black is completely fine.

its okay. Yuu swore that he would kill all the vampires after his family was murdered. so I thought to go with that. I didn't look up on shihos looks. I made Shinoa tan because I wanted to make small difference. a lot's of people do that so I just decided to go with it. I have changed Shinoa's skin tone back to lighter since someone said what it might seem like. thank you for your time

blackwashing doesn’t exist. it was created by white supremacists/racists. blackwashing simply doesn’t exist because black people have never had any rep to begin with or it’s always stereotyped! and if you say “they are changing her race!” they are simply making her darkskinned and even if they said they hc her as black that means she’s HALF. so it’s not changing anymore race

Whitewashing is racist because you are REMOVING poc representation. while when you make a white character a poc its GIVING representation to poc people. One was made for a positive reason (blackwashing which isnt even a word) and one was made for a negative reason (whitewashing) if you are to take a poc character, like shinoa in this video who is asian, and change her race COMPLETELY, that would be racist because its removing asian representation. BUT the creator did not do that, they made her MIXED, black & asian, she is still asian so its not removing any representation, matter a fact its giving MORE representation because blasian people practically dont exist in media. Now the reason why making a white character completely poc isnt racist because white people are the standard in media, they have all the representation, they are not minorities like poc are. do you understand now? Even though racism is mostly towards the black community, it is still racism. You all say that blackwashing isn't a word, then whitewashing isn't a word either then.
