SHINOBI Gameplay Walkthrough FULL GAME (4K 60FPS) No Commentary 

This game deserves a remake along with the sequel.

One of the most difficult yet memorable games of the Playstation 2.

As a kid the cursed sword gave me too much anxiety from the health drain….I’d replay the beginning where you’re without it but didn’t get much further. The scarf is forever iconic.

I remember this game. I broke two controllers, then managed to charge the sword enough to two hit the final boss. great game.

Funfact: the scarf being so visually striking wasn't even intended. One of the developers was just fucking around with the physics for fun, but everyone on the team really liked how it looked, and it ended up sticking.

My guy you have great tastes in games. Shinobi for the PS2 is a hidden Gem.

I remember crying trying to beat Hiruko lmao. I don't know how I managed to beat this game on all difficulties to unlock Moritsune and Joe Musashi. Holy hell.

The graphics aged very gracefully, kind of ahead of their time

I remember playing the Demo version of stage 2 - A and loving the stages OST, and I still listen to the OST to this day, I also love the fact that theirs a cut scene if you cut down multiple enemies at once and than shethe Akujiki, I always thought it looked badass, it's a shame none of the games today have that mechanic.

This game should be remastered or remade and get a sequel!

I think that old games are more fun than the recent games that the industry have

I loved this game and unfortunately never finished it. I got it just after playing “Ninja Gaiden” on Xbox, and was skeptical that it would stand up, but I feel that it did a fair job - although Ninja Gaiden on Xbox and Ninja Gaiden 2 for 360 are my two favorite games ever, period. I really miss this generation of games…the graphics were good enough that there were some really great looking titles, but the systems were apparently in expensive to program for, so there were just loads of weird, affordable games all over the place. I remember going to GameStop and just blindly grabbing a short stack of used games on payday, and not eve breaking a hundred bucks. In particular, I loved all the goofy anime - Japanese lore games for Ps2…Okano, Shinobi, Virtua Fighter….those were the days.

Final boss was the hardest. That sword also ate up more blood than Dracula and his harems combined.

This was my shit!!!!! One of the best games SEGA has made!

I love how Hotsuma randomly stops whatever he's doing to enter his ultimate "Edge Lord" stance. Also 1:51 HAMBURGER. CHEESEBURGER. BIG MAC. WHOPPER.

To think games like this and Castlevania were once the standard for difficulty. Nowadays even Doom falls to the trend that is habitual handholding.

This game... you get frustrated but it's so rewarding when you stick with it and get past a level. Still have yet to beat the Moth monster...

I would wait until the minions is summoned, kill the all minions first then end the boss when the blade is red. It so satisfying.

Hotsuma is SO awesome, Awesome ninja IMO. The red scarf is iconic.

The final Boss was so hard. But it was made so much worse by always having to redo the entire final stage before the final boss if you ended up raging quitting. I seriously thought the game was hard enough to end it at stage 3. Boy did I have some surprises coming

theres a review here on youtube that praises this entire game except for the final fight, the reviewer apparently took several hours to figure out the fight and even after understanding how the whole game revolves around holding a combo chain he still had issues with it

What a blast to the past, Wow. The absolute classic status this game has achieved over the years is well earned. Its difficult yet extremely fun. Akujiki is a monster of a sword and Hotsuma is a boss. Im kind of happy they never made a sequel to this. Its not even needed the game is a classic and ended as it should have. Perfection. What an age of gaming those days were my god.

18:23 I remember something interesting about this stage. if you stand right at the edge, and let him walk towards you? You can jump over his head as he launches himself off the building for massive damage. DO it enough times to drop his health to really low levels before killing him....unless that was patched or something.

This game really frustrated me but I managed to beat it. Wish there would have been a difficulty option to remove the akujiki timer though so I could take my time exploring the levels. Instead I always felt pressured to keep going instead of getting to enjoy the game at my own pace. But I’ve never enjoyed time limits of any kind in games.

I played one called shinobido from ps2 the game is amazing I've already reset it several times, it brings the gameplay on the channel 🇧🇷
