I know it's partly nostalgia, but goddamn does every track from FFVII inspire and move me more than many other OSTs. The Shinra theme is simply standout Uematsu, and it fits the oppressive nature of the Shinra so well. Excellent metal cover! You're quite the skilled musician, dude :3

Excellent tone and arrangement. The more metallic elements were blended very tastefully. I'd say it was true to the original while also bringing the right level of metalization. That's also a really nice guitar. I found a great deal on one in purple and I haven't noticed a single flaw yet. Thinking I might name it Ultima. :)

It is almost no question in my mind that if Nobuo Uematsu had more options for video game composition. He would have definitely gone for metal with FFVII. Even some basis for that since One Winged Angel got a metal remake for the movie.
