His English is perfect for the most part. He's just really shy. Just listen to him on Jericho's Podcast, he was flawless. When he tripped here it was only because of the camera and the bright light. Don't worry about his English, man. He's really good
He is getting really good at his English now, just shows the magnitude of the star he is to be able to pick it up that good and quick just so he can get to the spot at the top where he belongs! Future WWE Universal Champion right here ladies and gentleman! Great interview and great performer! NAKAMURA!
I love how he talks about this like its a dance and a performance. "Rhythm" and "timing" when talking about Cena. Talking about Jo like they will know what each wants. You can sense that Naka is an artist and that's what pro-wrestling is.
Mad respect for him learning English and asking to repeat questions when he doesn't understand the whole thing. Love Nakamura! Can't wait til we get to see him on the main roster
every nakamura backstage interview should be pre taped in japanese. we get subtitles and the wrestlers magically understand japanese and respond in english. it would be great
"What are the biggest differences for you between your career in Japan and now here?" "Uhhh a bit different, so everybody speaks English that's big different!" Hahahahahahahahaha
He comes across as quite shy here, which is strange, because his charisma and personality is off the chart. His English is getting better and better too.
A lot of wrestlers seem to be like that. Get them on tv and put a camera in front of them and the charisma and confidence flows, like it's natural to them. Put them in an interview off tv and they're quite reserved and shy almost. Dean Ambrose is another great example of this.
I don't watch regularly and don't know too much about this guy but his interviews on Smackdown as a heel are extremely good, witty, and funny. He is clearly very clever.
You can't not like this guy. You can tell Nak is in it for all the right reasons. He's an artist in the ring and it's a pleasure to watch his matches. Yeaoh!!
I am glad he at least attempts english. If I moved to Japan for a business, and they threw me in front of a camera speaking Japanese, I would be fucked, even after months of training.
What I believe no one understands is that the people of the wwe are human just like we are when all the tv and ppv tapings or live events are finished they become the nicest down to earth people you would ever meet. Shinsuke is just that person you know.
He seems like such a genuine guy, and to be perfectly honest, I really wouldn't mind seeing a Nakamura vs. Cena match, or hell even an extended program between the two in the future.
rapidly increasing English, but plz some1 should let nakamura have a talker with him on wwe until he masters English, and a translator for interviews wouldn't be bad
Have Paul Heyman be his manager during Brock's large wrestling breaks. Have Paul be the voice and Nakamura a technical destroyer in the ring with some kind of undefeated streak. This could also lead in a strong rivalry between Brock and Nakamura where Nakamura goes over in the end with the Universal Championship. WWE needs this right now.
No Just Dont comparing doesn't equal if someone can wrestle or not and he can wrestle, he always has match of the year candidates and no it's not cause of who he is fighting cause it takes two to put on a great match
Everyone to want to think in the long run not to criticize immediately to his English. Because I think he is surely English also physical abilities also make an effort to be active in the United States and other countries.
When I first saw Kota Ibushi in the crowd, to watch Nakamura's match at...NXT TakeOver: Dallas, I didn't know him at the time, but everybody was talking about him. Now Ibushi has become famous, thanks to WWE's CWC (Cruiserweight Classic) Tournament and for participating on NXT. So, yeah...now I want to see Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kota Ibushi. BUT I don't want it to be a single match, as it happened with Finn Bàlor, due to him being drafted to RAW. I would like Nakamura vs Ibushi in a whole feud
Check out Shinsuke vs. Kota at Wrestle Kingdom 9 that is my all time favorite match. There's just something about it and it's chalked full of the strong style they're famous for. It's a fantastic match.
I hope they pair him up with Paul Heyman or someone like that when he comes to the main roster. Till he feels comfortable enough to cut his own promos ygm
Japanese is the most unrelated language to English in the entire world as you can see both letters. If you speak Japanese, you’ll have strong accents like him for sure
